Hi everyone! I’ve been wanting to bring a song contest to this website for a long time… and I’ve finally decided to make it happen. The concept is simple: Think of it as a Eurovision-style roleplay, where each participant creates their own fictional country and sends a song that represents it. The winner of each edition receives: $40 Koinz package The right to host the next edition As host, you’ll have influence over: The theme of the edition guaranteed finalist (just like in eurovision) Schedule: I’m planning to host one edition per month (tentative) This may change depending on participation and interest. Rules & Format 🌎 1. Create Your Country (FAKE COUNTRY) To participate, you must represent a fictional country. Your country should include: A name At least one official language A flag Optional (but highly encouraged): Lore / backstory Culture, politics, geography A unique identity or aesthetic Note: Your song does not have to be in your country’s official language, but it’s recommended for immersion. Contest Format Depending on participation: 2 or 3 Semi-Finals A Grand Final (up to 26 countries) Semi-Final Voting: You will NOT vote in your own semi-final Instead: an Semi-Final A → votes in Semi-Final B Semi-Final B → votes in Semi-Final C Semi-Final C → votes in Semi-Final A 4. Grand Final Voting follows a Eurovision-style system: Each country awards: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 points 5. Televotes The Zerelith Song Contest will include a televote component to enhance realism and excitement. Each country will award: 9 points 11 points → These will represent the televote scores Additionally: Non-qualifying (NQ) countries’ jury votes will be combined and counted as part of the televote This system ensures that: Eliminated countries still have an impact on the final result The voting feels closer to a real Eurovision-style jury televote split I’m really excited to host this, as I’ve been a fan of Eurovision for quite some time now. 🎤✨ I hope you’re all just as excited as I am!
