While Humble and Kind is a well-written song, Tim McGraw himself gets a bit lost in it compared to other submissions that felt more distinctive and artist-forward. Theme : Express Yourself (Showcase an Artist) Due : 3PM EST Monday (Regular Elimination) For this round, pick an artist you enjoy. This can be a favorite of yours or an artist you think I’ll enjoy. Choose one song that you feel best represents or showcases that artist. Think of it as their “this is who I am” song. Along with your song, include a short blurb explaining why you chose it and how you feel it showcases the artist. This doesn’t need to be a novel, but I do expect at least a sentence or two.
