Hello Kovazians. As this site grows and we get more and more users on the website, it is clear Discord is the mainline communication between players rather than in game chat. We understand that this is a tool outside of Kovaze and we can not fully moderate every situation that does not happen in front of us. However, we are taking steps to try and moderate some of the more out of line comments that are shared to us on Discord. While we previously declared most of these things as outside of the scope of our moderation, we have decided to start sanctioning users based on things that happen in DMs on Discord. This is to keep the community safe, mitigate bullying, and creating a standard of just being nice to each other. This is not to moderate how you are able to talk to your friends. We understand, in friendly banter, you may say things that are not permissible to say on this platform or in the Discord. What we are looking at is SPECIFICALLY Kovaze-related incidents. You are no longer allowed to call people slurs, threaten them, or whatever else because they nominated you in Hysteria or idoled you out in Outcasted. That being said, we will NOT be accepting reports long after an incident. Some exceptions will be made, but the timeline will absolutely be considered when addressing these types of reports. You aren't going to be able to use this to your advantage because someone made you mad months later. Please use your normal routes of reporting for these incidents and include links to screenshots when applicable. These can be directly in the reports or sent to a moderator via mails/DM/the ticket feature in the server. Starfall is currently disabled due to game breaking bugs with it. Sin is working on a fix for these bugs, and will re-release the comp once those are fixed. Additionally, with exploiting bugs in comps, you do not have the privilege of being warned before a ban. Exploiting is NOT permissible under any circumstances. It has always been said that exploiting a bug results in a permanent ban. If bugs continue to come up, we ask that you report them to the moderators so that we can fix the issue before it becomes a bigger issue resulting in what happened with the Starfall Cheaters. We’ve made a small but meaningful update to the Kovaze Rules to help maintain a safe environment for everyone on the site. From this point forward, we’re asking all users to avoid making public posts that endanger other users on Kovaze. Drama and cat-fights are fine (After all, this is a site based on Reality TV!), but violence and harassment are not. Additionally, blogs regarding moderation or staff decisions are no longer permitted. All moderation concerns must go through the official support or appeal channels so that they can be handled fairly and privately. The blogs page is not a place to start witch hunts or publicly challenge moderation rulings. If you ever feel a decision was unfair, please reach out to an Administrator directly - we’re always open to hearing you. We want to be clear: the culture of hostility that took place on that other website is not what Kovaze stands for. To support this, we’re introducing a new Blog Ban feature. Repeated rule violations may result in permanent loss of access to the blogs page. This is a kind reminder from the moderation team: we can and do verify the authenticity of any screenshots submitted to us by checking directly against the database. Any attempt to fabricate or alter screenshots will be treated as defamation, and consequences will vary depending on the seriousness of the false claim. We also want to remind everyone not to post public accusations on the blogs page. If you believe someone is breaking the rules, please report it and allow us to investigate. This ensures users are not unfairly targeted or falsely accused, as happened with Fairytales tonight. Kovaze is not Tengaged - this is a civil, respectful community, and we are taking a strong stance on protecting our players. Full stop. We’d like to extend a warm welcome to all new users. The moderation team is committed to keeping Kovaze safe and enjoyable for everyone. Please take the time to carefully read and follow the rules below: --- **A) RULE-BREAKING ACTIVITY** The following will result in a suspension or permanent ban of your Kovaze account. 1. **Multiple Accounts (Permanent Ban)** Each person is limited to one account. Alternate accounts are not allowed. 2. **Account Sharing (Permanent Ban)** Do not share your login or password with anyone. 3. **Cheating/Exploiting (Permanent Blanket Ban)** Cheating in minigames, competitions, or exploiting site mechanics is strictly prohibited. Detection will result in a blanket ban (no new accounts permitted). 4. **Pornography (Permanent Ban)** Any pornographic content, including links, will result in a permanent ban. 5. **Slurs & Hate Speech** Do not use slurs, hate speech, or display hate symbols on Kovaze. 6. **Bullying, Death Threats, Harassment** Disagreements are natural, but harassment, threats, or targeted bullying will not be tolerated. Moderators have discretion to decide what qualifies as harassment. 7. **Doxxing** Leaking private information about others is forbidden. 8. **Spam / Flooding** Do not intentionally flood comments, blogs, or messages with spam. 9. **Impersonation** Do not impersonate other users, moderators, or public figures. 10. **Scamming & Phishing** Do not attempt to scam, defraud, or phish other users (e.g., fake trades, malicious links). --- ## **B) ILLEGAL ACTIVITY** KOVAZE HAS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. Any violation results in a permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement. 1. **Server Hacks/Attacks** DDOS attacks, hacking, or any attempt to disrupt Kovaze systems is against the law. 2. **Sexual Content Involving Minors** No sexual or romantic advances toward users under 18. Adults cannot request under-18s’ personal socials (Instagram, Snapchat, etc.). Discord handles may be exchanged, but sending photos to minors is forbidden. Kovaze will assist law enforcement in investigations. 3. **Other Illegal Activity** Any other illegal activity on Kovaze will result in a ban and possible further legal action. --- ## **C) COPYRIGHTED CONTENT** 1. **Copyrighted Images** Do not upload designs using copyrighted images or artwork you don’t own. By uploading, you confirm you hold full rights. Uploaded designs grant Kovaze non-exclusive rights to display and use them. --- Kovaze is built to be a fun, competitive, and welcoming community. These rules exist to protect that environment for everyone. By participating on Kovaze, you agree to follow them and respect your fellow users. If you’re ever unsure whether something is allowed, use common sense, and when in doubt, don’t do it. Our moderation team is always here to help, so feel free to reach out with any questions.
