This game was taxing, it was exhausting, and it was really hard. However while it was difficult I also truly enjoyed the challenge, I had fun, and I connected with people I hadn’t quite met before. But Will and I made it and we played (I think) exceptionally to get here. When it came to 32 other duo’s there was no realistic way we could reach out to everyone and with a lot of people that seemed to know each other. We knew coming into the game we needed to have a lowkey approach to how we played. Eventually as the game progressed those pre-game relationships began to turn into hindrances as people began taking nominations harder and harder and Will and I really aimed to come from a place of honesty because while friends were betraying each other, we were honest and got less blood on our hands. Now while I believe we overall played an honest game, I can’t claim it was solely an honest one. Lying, even to save myself, has become a struggle because I just want people to like me. I enjoy making new friends and connecting with people, but lying happens to be beneficial in a game such as this. While I owned the social aspect and made metaphorical friendship bracelets, Will took the lead strategically, always running through numbers and possibilities/scenarios and odds of every decision we made and potential nominations. He REALLY helped lead me in the right direction and in combination I believe we made an amazing team! I’m so fucking gagged rn and so proud of Will and I. We’ll post longer more thorough blogs later but we just gotta celebrate this success before we go to work!!

This game has been a rollercoaster of many feelings and while it’s been exhausting I have really enjoyed my time in here. We’ve been countered 4 times and eventually it had to go through, like I said in the pollbox, people seem to think we have this popularity base that I just don’t believe or know about, I do believe being up is a death sentence but it would be a happy surprise to prove us wrong ;) Because of my lack in belief of our popularity, Will and I have really focused on gameplay on being strategic and social and coming into the game with 32 other people and a lot of other preconceived connections. We felt very out of place truly not really knowing anyone but a person here or a person there. I also work 2-10pm shifts and it’s been difficult and impossible for me to have conversations with everyone which is where I doubled down and focused on connections that would make an impact positively on my game and that’s how (in combination with Will’s strategic prowess) we were able to make it this far untouched by the block. Will has been an amazing partner and has helped me so much in this game that a big part of the reason I want to do well is not only for me but for him as well. I dragged him into this game pretty last minute and it’s been exhausting for both of us but Icebeast really deserves to stay and continue fighting because he is an amazing human being who I am honored to call a friend. Ultimately we believe if we do survive this poll, it may be the momentum we need to make it to the end of the game and we can promise that we would fight as hard as possible to get there!!! https://www.kovaze.com/celebrities_poll/2977

Just wanted to introduce myself!! My name is Derek, I work at a Trader Joe’s and I was Schmooboy on the previous site! I played there mainly from 2010-2014 until I discovered ORG’s which I still play here and there to this day in addition to LRG’s (Live Reality Games) aka in person games and it’s been a while since I really played games like this here and it’s hitting the nostalgia for me!
