my team was first place overall in speech at the state tournament <3 we also won one of the debate formats and the topic for the final round was "this house regrets the celebrity status of reality tv participants" and i have NEVER been more useful than i was in the 30 minutes preparing for that round. they dominated, obviously.

for the speech and debate team i coach. i got home at like.... 1 am last night and ended up sleeping for like 22 of the following 24 hours

a conservative white woman was called out for problematic behavior by a bunch of dudes and instead of replying to the arguments made, she personally attacks the one woman involved and her ability as a mother. this is, of course, after claiming to be “bullied” and saying i would pay if i said anything about her grandchildren, a thing i never did. this is so unsurprising and not at all indicative of the way the right wing in the united states has radicalized many people to a point of no return :3
