22nd - Tisha [Red] 21st - dino [Red] - - - - - - - - - - - - - Now that the chefs are starting to get into the swing of how things work in Hell's Kitchen, they prepare for the next challenge. They meet Chef Ramsay in the Hell's Kitchen dining room! 🍽️ Challenge 🍽️ In the dining room are 20 different covered plates, each with a mystery protein underneath the cover. Each team will have to choose one of the covered plates, and make a gourmet meal out of whatever protein they get. Chef Ramsay has invited celebrity chef Bobby Flay to help him judge which team ends up creating the best dish. The team with the best dish will win a reward, and the losing team will be given a punishment! Chef Ramsay has one member of each team pick a covered plate. Red Jackets - elio chooses for the Red Jackets. They walk up to a plate and uncover it. Red Jackets get: Rack of Lamb Blue Jackets - Pipes chooses for the Blue Jackets They walk up to a plate and uncover it. Blue Jackets get: Ribeye Steak 🔴Red Jacket Prep Phase🔴 - VenusVafa starts suggesting flavors that will compliment their protein well - King_Bradford and MissChloeKay flash each other a look, both feeling uncertain about their protein - King_Bradford second guesses the team's plan way too many times Red Jackets' Final Concept: Roasted rack of lamb with garlic mashed potatoes, pan gravy, and steamed green beans 🔵Blue Jacket Prep Phase🔵 - Jaxx helps his team arrive at a good concept early on in the prep phase - @Justini continually expresses doubt about the team's seasoning choices, but is ignored Blue Jackets' Final Concept: Pan-seared ribeye steak with garlic butter, roasted fingerling potatoes, blistered green beans, and red wine jus 🔪 Each team begins the cooking phase 🔪 🔴Red Jacket Cook Phase🔴 - jessiejedi is concerned their protein isn't cooked enough - RebeccaJosephine forgets about a seasoning, hurting the final product - Due to time running out, Idol just guesses the protein's doneness instead of actually checking Red Jackets' Dish turned out worse than expected 🔵Blue Jacket Cook Phase🔵 - @Capzacsparrow pulls the protein off the heat at the right moment, leading to a near perfect cook - @Justini starts plating the sides before everyone else is ready, causing tension - Jaxx begins to lose focus, and MaxOra notices and tells him to get it back into gear - Pipes braces himself for negative criticism from Chef Ramsay on their final dish Blue Jackets' Dish turned out better than expected 🥩 Judging Phase 🥩 Chef Ramsay and Bobby Flay try each team's dish and provides feedback - They tell the Red Jackets that their protein is undercooked and under seasoned, and that the execution was not there - They tell the Blue Jackets that their protein is cooked perfectly, and the seasonings and sides pair well with their protein After a brief exchange, they decide that the Blue Jackets have the best dish and are the winners of this challenge -------- 🔵 Blue Jackets Win 🔵 - YanderTron21, sobriquet, venharim, unfortunate, MaxOra, GeminiFoxx, Jaxx, Pipes, @Capzacsparrow, Imperio, @Justini They win a day trip to a luxury spa on the Las Vegas strip 🔴 Red Jackets Lose 🔴 - Divangbayan, Idol, jessiejedi, TeaFiercelyBoots, VenusVafa, elio, MissChloeKay, King_Bradford, RebeccaJosephine As a punishment, they will spend the afternoon peeling thousands of potatoes by hand, one by one, for tonight's dinner service
