no, they didn't teach that. I knew SOME obviously, but no I did not know the majority of them. I don't think it's common sense. I mean common sense might be figuring them out by their neighbors, like some regions have similar flags, but I would not put "knowing all world flags" in the common sense column.

Yea we didn’t learn about flags in Canada either

I feel like watching soccer/playing FIFA helps with a fair amount of the flags

I know lots of them because I'm a fan of geography, but are absolutely not taught them in school.

i think americans dont know world flags for the most part. like the general american does not have every world flag memorized. Its not taught in our education.
