Royale is most fun when it's played how it's meant to be played, and that's exactly what happened last night. I've played enough cycles now to know that you can make it far by not doing anything – but you make it even further by asserting yourself. I fear i'll never stay awake for the whole night to win a game, but regardless I had a really fun time in yesterday's cycle. Once the game started, I realized there were no major major threats or notable groups, which felt great, and I was also on speaking terms with a majority of the cast. Shortly after, I was put in a chat of poof's people including smores_poptart sirvivor glaceon envious lover jaded, while also talking game with Legend and Goomybear. Shortly after, I came to find that these people were on opposing sides, as Legend + his team of BigBryy99, Davit, and Ricardogv killed Poof and Envious. Once my personal targets were out by 30th at no fault of my own, I basically just had to make a decision on how I wanted to play the game – if I wanted to lay back and sheep my way to single digits like I had in basically all of my other Royales, or really tighten up since I had enough items to kill two people on my own. I did the second, and what came after was probably one of the most fun Royale moments I had, of slaying half the cast with smores_poptart sirvivor glaceon and lover. In the process, I bombed axel, mp231, and ricardogv's room, shot out adamlnyc, davit, zee_ and gregoriok, and saw the end of Corey1 and bigdizzleyomama (with comedic timing as Corey literally just sent me a "good job" message on discord seconds before we moved into his room.) I also leaked Legend's location with bad faith, a move that I regret from a friendship standpoint as I basically was complicit in his slaying and essentially gave the team the green light. I owe both him and Ricardogv apologies for not warning them or simply saying no to their deaths. I also made some fun connections during the game, growing closer with Goomybear and Mango during it all! Fun game overall, I really think I have a chance to win once I have to to pull an all-nighter – and honestly I would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for sobriquet and those meddling kids (jk, always love playing with you austin even when we don't talk too much) Till next time!
