[Serious] Trying to Keep It Together

Just wanted to let you know I’ve been a bit unwell and doing my best to stay composed for a while now. The trip I mentioned here: https://kovaze.com/blog/102987 was something my girlfriend planned to lift my spirits. It truly worked in the moment, but the feeling didn’t quite carry through afterward. I spent Easter on my own because I didn’t have it in me to be around others. On the surface, everything may seem perfectly fine, but in truth I’m quite stretched and running on empty. There are several things contributing to that, but work has been the main weight. I have a doctor’s appointment this coming Monday where we’ll talk through the possibility of taking longer-term leave before things reach full burnout. It really is that serious.
