My right meniscus is a problem

If I twist it just rightly wrong, it pops so loud and proceeds to ache as fuck - this has happened once or twice a year since I was in the 7th grade. It truly feels like my knee pops in and out of place for a split second but as soon as I straighten my leg, it’ll pop back in loud as fuck.
