Big Brother Gamemode 8 Concept
We have a variety of different games, but I think one thing that's missing is a slow Big Brother style game.
This is something we've wanted since October. We tested out the "Sharks" game in December, and it just didn't meet our standards, so it was back to the drawing board.
In regards to Castings, I'm not in favour of adding it, but I've been listening to the castings crowd and what they love about it: easy entry for new players and the chance to meet new people. I want to incorporate those elements into a fully fleshed out Big Brother style game instead.
What I know so far is that enrolment will occur at the same time each week for everyone. Anyone who signs up during the week will be randomly divided into a house/game. Think Survivor enrolment, but happening automatically every week. The idea here is that as the player pool grows, you're less likely to end up in a game with people you've just played with, which is a key focus of this format.
At the same time, I still want it to stay true to the Big Brother inspired experience, that's the identity of the site at the end of the day. The goal is to capture the essence of Big Brother ORGs while offering it in a more casual, accessible, and unintimidating way.

Love the idea of an actual long form big brother style game. Classic rookies didn’t even give that to us and probably the closest we had gotten to it in short game format is Hysteria.
please we need something different than HOH/POV................ what i loved about castings was the fact i could join ALONE, not have to make super strong alliances, and just CHILL...... :( i will personally not play any game modes with HOH/POV, its just too much drama and stress with so many mentally unstable people.

Pipes we need it for new players! this proposed format is not for new players IMO. even if its "random" games... veterans will ALWAYS know each other / work together over new players 95% of the time. as a new player, the last thing we want is either them being gang up on and nominated for last place because a vet player "doesnt know them" or the new player getting HOH and being called a ****** ***** **** **** **** because they nominated some mentally unstable vet player!
I like the idea, I think just the length will vary between games depending if people use vetoes or not if you are making this strictly like Big Brother (I'm assuming like US). One thing that concerns me is how to make this too "predictable". You did mention the pool and everything, but I do feel like people will find a way to gamify it like how Royale has been BUT even if that is the case Big Brother is all about "Expect the Unexpected" would there be other things in it besides the HOH and POV that could be implemented? I just don't know if people will put that much energy in a long game if that is just it. Idk if people are putting that much in Outcasted these days. I guess what I am saying is, what is the end goal if I am going to put my time in a long game? Besides that I am excited for a long game that can be social base cause that is something that I have waiting for since I first joined. Also will there be a hot tub?
I'm mostly with you, in regard to newer players, a number of them will just hit "enroll" and be confused that they aren't in a game immediately like Castings supplied. This issue somewhat happens with Royale, and those players that then end up as inactives get dragged through the game. You need some way for the newer user to remember to come back. Supply some kind of clear countdown to enrollment, or a message of "come back at [insert KVT time and day here]" or else I fear many new users that you are trying to target with this will just be inactives, which isn't what we want. Since we're kind of doing Rookies here, for the newer user that remembers to come back on the right day, make it so they've not missed a lot of the game. The first 24 hours of Rookies was only an HoH nominating.

Exited🫶🏼🫶🏼💕 I love big brother The only issue is that you’d have to wait a whole week to play. Why not have it work like Survivor from the start? As soon as one game begins, new spots could immediately start filling for the next one.
Dimitra Because it allows for 7 days of sign-ups which give us the ability to divide people into more diverse games. More new faces, a more balanced cast, that's the #1 priority for this game.

We cannot fill the current games and they are fast so Idk how slow games will end up
Dynasty I'd say 60 games in 24 hours is fine for a 6 month old site, and I'm confident that a game like this will fill :)
