The gift shops
are basically Sapphire and Minie buying them every cycle at insanely high prices bc they can afford them while everyone else switches out every 3 days affording the bs inflation... it rotates between other shop owners gifting their friends from their profits, ogs like Dream and style gifting their oomfs, and first time gift owners just trying to spread the love.
Since when did 7k koinz for a gift shop become the norm. That's not normal. Please stop acting like these bids are normal.
I'm gonna postpone my gift shop until this inflation issue for the shops gets fixed bc this is ridiculous I js want to gift people awesome designs </3

And mind you I did an entire blog of charity gifting so not just your friends who “spread love” but not even 70% of them acknowledged the gift and even people i randomly gift don’t even acknowledge or thank me. So I’m gonna keep gifting the people who acknowledge it
We weren’t the ones who went to 7k or even 6k lol Both sapphire and I have missed shops in the last few Dcs cause our bids weren’t enough. If you are gonna make statements, get your facts right
But yeah i do want to be able to buy a shop for cheaper than 6000. Paying 4000 to 5000 for a shop would be better than what we have to pay now
Its not only me who bids high. Other people do too. I actually tried bidding 6000 the other week and I didnt get the shop because others were bidding higher than 6000.
Sapphire I agree, and this isn't to pin the high prices on you or Minie. I see you guys with gift shops almost every cycle and I assume it's because you're able to keep up with the inflation. The rising prices are a collective issue with the gift shop culture.
itsamodernlife yeah I wish that there was a way to make it so people cant bid more than 6000 on a shop.
apparently they were 6k koinz back in november-december per cherry..... we just got lucky and had a rut around january-feb i guess? but also doesn't help there's a bunch of new players who also buy koinz to get shops too, which has made it more competitive
brookie I only rlly paid attention to gift shops come Jan/Feb so this makes sense. With that being said I remember there being some fluctuation back then too... it didn't js steadily increase, there were some cycles where the price dropped. This inflation is now causing gift shops to continuously increase and it doesn't look like it'll be dropping too. It's annoying bc unlike competing shops, gift shops are purely to give away designs; so I get that there has to be a standard, but 7.2k is insane. New players buying koinz to afford is only confirming my thoughts.
no its like actually crazy. but I dont understand the people that buy coins, why would you not want the shops to be cheaper so you dont have to buy as many? idk.
I started a month ago and I believe my first shop was like 5.4k? its rising by 200koinz each cycle and steady going
