I am neurodivergent
So I have a certain level of understanding and sympathy for the way some people act. However, I have this friend who has major anxiety and just will not do anything to help herself. First of all she doesn’t take any medication or have a therapist or anything to work through this so she just lets it eat her up. Recently at work the printer she uses stopped working, and so she called IT to come fix it. They apparently literally pressed the screen once to hit a button that said ok and it started working and told her in the future she should be able to do that without her calling. She then called me crying because how should she know that and she’s not a printer mechanic and doesn’t get how any of that works and she shouldn’t have to. I blankly just told her to be an adult and stop acting like a 2 year old without fine motor skills. It just irritates me how so many people make themselves a lame duck when they have the full capacity to deal with issues in front of them.

But also if she is that unwell her capacity is probably not very high to begin with
Mama I mean this kindly but this gives more personality disorder than anxiety.
