Is Halloween like big for adults in the US?

idk I just turn all the lights off and ignore the knocking while watching a scary movie with DOOM
For me personally, not really. I usually get invited to some events but I prefer to just sit in the basement, have a few glasses of wine, and watch scary movies with my husband.
