Whats the best strategy for Relics?

It's all about luck I think. The placements of shapes and then which way you start out going. I found all mine back to back in a few seconds to get 11100.

I’ve been told small circle first to identify anything close by then a grid method to find the rest but I have not gotten more than 8k so idk
