Paul there’s something in the air with people being vicious to a legacy pop act putting out music lol eternal sunshine was panned bc Ethan Slater drama, Cowboy Carter made ppl mad because it’s long or something, Man’s best friend offended people for being sexual (as if Taste and Espresso weren’t massive hits last year), Chappell singles not living up to Good Luck Babe/Midwest princess, and now Showgirl is the worst thing ever and Taylor is a conservative propagandist lmfao. I highly disagree this is her worst album. The lyrics of eldest daughter, hate to say it, is horrible. However, the rest of the album is sooooo catchy
I do think it's her worst album by far, specifically the lyrics. The concept of Opalite being made in a lab and not a real gem found in nature. Onyx symbolizing strength and grounding... idk what she was trying to say with that. Remember, self-proclaimed English teacher!
