First impressions of the new Shops Game

Hey! Just wanted to share our first impression of the new shops game which has been an overall positive one.
One of the biggest issues of the previous format was that it forced all shop owners to match and beat each others prices - meaning shops was either always expensive, or always cheap (and therefore empty because everything was sold out).
With this new change, we’re seeing a range of prices - from cheap designs, to more expensive ones for those who have a little more in their coin purse.
We’ve also given 24 stock to each public shop and that’s also helped the shops remain stocked, which is great to see!
We’ll keep an eye out on how the shops game and economy is impacted for the next few rounds before we call it a success, but so far we are envisioning the rework as a major improvement to the previous system.

cswaggerr Public shops can't post under 200, Gifting shops can't post over 200. Public shops also have slightly more stock.
So shops don’t compete each other , every round 8 new compete shops? Can we bid in a row to open? Or every round is ONLY new shops? sin
Or is there a difference between the 2 because otherwise couldnt I essentially just get a regular shop and just post for under 200 sin
Sin with the gifting will you have to find gifters to send the items quickly like on tg or can you send without that stress lol?
cswaggerr gifitng shops still exist - we actually decided to go with the two tier idea you and Coke vouched for. When creating a shop, you can select whether to set it as a gifting shop. They'll have a 🎁emoji next to their names (as you can see with the two gifting shops open right now). Every week will have 2 gifting and 8 competing, since we want to push players to compete whilst still having the option to gift!
sin Will gift shops still be something that’s considered?
Love it 🩷 just the bids is too high now , so that make the shop owners to sell more expensive to make some profit … but maybe this change later in days
