I've bought a ticket for Celebs

every round, and have never played. And that's ok! It's how the game is designed. Obviously, this season (and potentially going forward) the Events Team is handling Celebrities, which means I will never participate.
Celebrities, just like Stars was, was not meant for everyone to be able to join. I don't see what's not clicking :3

I think ppl just feel it was way too early to be doing this recruitment / most people never had a chance due to having 0 relationship with team captains. They’re allowed to be disappointed and I think the whole events team can try to be better at receiving feedback. Bc at this point if im seeing penguinowen126 get called out by a person with Events in their name on sin’s blog that tells me ok the events team is not a friendly one I can engage with. Amandasings04 and that's fair! The format was designed around the coaches being able to recruit, and no one on the team had any issue with that. And I am not saying that they are not allowed to be disappointed - they have that right. If we think about Stars, it was only meant for like what, gold levels and above to join? I'm p sure at some point it was raised to just tv stars and above. It was NOT meant to be a game that everyone can join whenever they want. Just like Celebrities! Personally, I know that a lot of people were dming the coaches to be part of their teams, and anyone could have done that to be selected. Obviously, the choices were made for what the coaches thought was best for them. On the matter of PenguinOwen I would love some clarity on why he thinks Celebs not being a weekly game is unfair. That makes no sense, especially coming from someone that has played two times. He has been the most vocal person about Celebrities and continues to comment about it on the daily, multiple times a day. It's beyond tired at this point. We understand what he wants - it's not what Sin wants and that has been made obvious by how irregular the schedule of Celebs starting has been.

i dont think anything that i said really crosses any boundaries of "punching down" on him. but thank you for the feedback I will learn from this and learn to be more respectful, courteous, kind and respectful to all on behalf of the Events Team.
Kemi i feel like i said 100 times tho lowkey what i think it's not 100% fair... the odds of getting picked is low ( i'm not saying this because i want to play again ) it's just the truth and i can understand why sin would not want it to be weekly but when the odds are so low and we had to wait 2 weeks for the event team to come up with a format and the format being 5 winners pick the cast is not really fair i agree with what lifeiscool said today it should have been raffled and 16 people that have not played get casted by the raffle and the past winners pick a team or something like that! i dont think it's fair we have to wait for the event team again people just want to play so i dont see a need to wait i'm really not saying this because i want to play again it's just what was the point of waiting 2 weeks for the format to be this... it's not a bad format not the most fair format tho but the wait was not needed! i think i made my point clear tho the odds of getting casted is low we just want to play! there should be a fair middle ground of the waits yes i get you guys wanted a good format i understand that and i know you guys will come up with many more amazing formats but i dont think that's something we should be waiting on and i dont think it's always needed to have formats sometimes the normal format works just fine... but my main point has been when the odds are so low at getting casted it's not 100% fair to make us wait a long time 💖

PenguinOwen126 the game isnt designed so that ppl can play 10 times a year in hopes of winning finally like stars was i fear. so you can say it's unfair that it's not weekly and you don't have the opportunity to play/watch as much as you want, but everyone has the same amount of chances to play as everyone else(except for this week obviously... as this was hand selected based off who bought a ticket). so to *me* that cant possibly be unfair. you just dont want to wait for the opportunity to play again is what it comes down to :3. idk why you keep saying that you cant have an opinion, when thats not what i am saying in the slightest. im explaining my side, as you are explaining yours. what we wanted was 16 ppl that have never played before to play, the only way to secure that is to have the coaches pick. we could have had sin manually remove people since we are unable to do that, but then the ppl that were selected that played before, would be mad that they were removed from the cast. celebrities is the one game on this site that we have to have permission from sin to enroll people into. we can NOT host it until he gives the ok.
