hey, while I agree that sucks and is not something I personally would do, he does feel really bad. We had an alliance chat right away in the game, and when Bagel was nominated round 2, he thought Bagel was leaving. He told me he wanted to make an alliance with you guys, so he could have a backup plan. Then Bagel stayed, and I think he felt trapped, but was loyal to his original alliance. It sucks, but I hope you can forgive him.
