Like it’s so wild to me how Lara and Sophia are vocal powerhouses, yet we have not been given a single song showcasing their vocal ability since katseye’s debut.
Meanwhile JYP made sure that we knew how vocally talented the girls in girlset are within their first few singles?!?
I don’t get it.. it feels like their potential is being wasted in favor of songs like gnarly and internet girl

Internet girl was probably already planned for rollout before Gabriela took off. So they still wanted to do the touch/gnarly sound. I wish they would stick to the fact that it was just a kpop training camp for the girls and not actually keeping the kpop sound even if they aren't doing kpop. But the exploitation of young girls in girl groups having no control or freedom over their art is another conversation that needs to be had
edmxxnd tea, the contracts that they have to sign are so gross, they deserve some level of control as artists
hauntedwaves most girls in girl groups have no credits for anything which means they don't make any of the money off credits based on songwriters/producers which takes a chunk out of their check. Which is sad with KATSEYE specifically when you have someone like Lara who has been producing and could help but she's basically signed her life away just to be a performer and not showcase her talent as an actual artist.
the problem with internet girl is that the girls didnt have their own moments like they usually do. on top of the fact that gabriela gained so much traction and they're still going in the touch/gnarly route trying to find the girls sound. Gabriela is one of their best and i think they should continue to go in that route for their sound
