So whilst I wait
To start in the navy which is looking like the end of this year, I've applied to work as a SEND teaching assistant and I have an interview tomorrow ! Cannot wait , working with SEND and additional needs kids in my previous job was my absolute favourite aspect of the job , and the part I always got the most praise for :D
Excited for a new challenge and experience even if it is only temporary

This is honestly amazing! SEND teachers don't get enough love. They helped me a lot through school I suffered from extreme anxiety and dysgraphia and without them I probably wouldn't be where I am today. It's a very important job.
Fairytales I was an outdoor activity instructor in my previous job, and honestly the amount of kids that'd just resign themselves to the background because that's how they've been treated because of things like spectrum conditions , ADHD aswell as other things was shocking . But I was always open with them about having ADHD too, and you'd just see their energy shift , their confidence grow and it was so special, I can't wait to get to get involved on a deeper level. I think my favourite kid was one who upon finding out I had ADHD too went " WHAT I could do this job when I'm older ?!" Genuinley made me smile so hard lmao! But yes honestly they're so unnecessary appreciated in general, but I know how much it means to the children and that's the motivation 😉 I'm glad you had that support queen 😘❤️
