There should be a cursed idol, and if someone in that tribe finds it, they will lose every challenge and be eliminated one by one until the person who is plagued by the curse is the last one to go before the merge. Honestly, it would be a fun twist with a 5% chance that a game will have no merge and must outcast the other 2 tribes, eventually having to defeat your own tribe mate at the tribal council arena.
