Honestly just be extremely careful and start on low dosages! I had a horrific reaction to a medication called Oxybutyin that caused me to go insane and have extreme brain fog.
I am on medication and what works for me or someone else might not work for you so it’s trial and error. Remember that there’s nothing wrong with taking medication to help our brains produce chemicals it can’t on its own ❤️ hugs

Lorazepam works my depression so it might for you too and a low dose of Hydroxizine works for my social anxiety.
It's worth trying nothing about it will permanently affect you if you go off it even if the withdrawal can be annoying for a few days
