But people who get some dumb major in college like gender studies or anthropology to “explore” and peter pan that shit are so dumb unless you have a very specific path in front of you, but if you’re not, you’re just gonna be covered in a shit load of debt for no reason. Like ik someone who is majoring in Chinese and have no idea what they’re going to do with their life, and I’m like… you’re so cooked, there’s barely anything you can do with that major.

Some people go to college to pursue a career path doing something they're passionate about and not necessarily about the money. Now I certainly wouldn't do that personally but people can get an education in what they want.
It's kind of sad that the value of an education is tied to the reality of being forced to "make a living" (kind of a disgusting phrase if you really think about it). I wish we lived in a society where you could just learn and explore the world
