Just venting.
This is going to be somewhat unprofessional, un-admin of me, blady blady bla but this is my safe space and I literally have no one IRL who would understand what I’m about to say.
This past month has been unpleasant for me. Last week, I was called lazy for delaying the release of Royale by an hour after pulling two consecutive all-nighters to work on it. I was so sleep-deprived that I woke up vomiting and was bedbound for 24 hours. I got back on the next day to see that three people had become extremely upset that I didn’t respond to their DMs while I was gone. Another user was threatening to sue me after they got banned for using a slur. And just to round it out, the week wouldn’t be complete without my favourite actress dying ^_^
I seldom express these thoughts because I hate complaining and will probably delete this blog in the morning out of regret. I know most of you are always expressing love and constructive feedback on my updates, and to you all, I am forever grateful. To those of you who are consistently unhappy, bashing moderation, or shaming people who donate to the site and keep it free for you: Just log off. I will never meet your expectations and honestly I have a clear vision of the community I'm wanting to build and it doesn't really include you in it anyway.

There are obviously critiques to be made of the site and I’ve done my own, but anything related to the creation and games aspect of the site is totally unfounded. You’re doing this all by yourself and should be absolutely given grace especially right now as you are actively growing the amount of stuff that can be done here.
people are just ridiculous hun. the people on here crying are the ones that haven't stopped crying for a whole 10 years, just like they did on the old site. unfortunately you can never please everyone, but like you said, there are certain people who are consistently blogging about how unhappy they are... like just go then?? lmao

Sometimes people can support the website and also express their feelings when something feels wrong. I've spend a good amount on coins and diamond, but also raising a flag when something doesn't feel right, shouldn't be the end all be all and a "we don't want you here response" lmao. Based on the comments not only on my blog, but ones seen in previous weeks, it's clear there is some type of power imbalance. Hopefully it works itself out, best of luck!
you literally are putting every single waking moment (and arguably being awake for moments than you *should* be) to create free to play games for people who live in their parents’ basements. a vast majority of the users on this website couldn’t make a bowl of cereal, let alone a fully functioning website like this. take care of yourself, the people here stayed on tengaged for a decade without any relevant update and will be here whenever ur ready <3

You're doing an amazing job, honestly, and you deserve to rant and get this shit off your chest. The truth is, people are just miserable. Your passion for this website is clear and it has given so many people something to look forward to and enjoy and building a sense of community. IDK I just feel like you're an awesome person with so much potential and its really cool to see it all play out in real time.

Honestly, who cares if people spend money to support a website they enjoy playing on ... as long as they don't put themselves into debt etc and do it sparingly. It helps the whole community and the running of the website.
The mean voices are always the loudest, try to tune them out babe, it's not worth your energy.
