Question: tiebreaker algorithm

To those who are more seasoned than I: how are tiebreakers in outcasted and race decided? If say two people have the same amount of eviction votes or two teams score the same thing? Does algorithm favor those closer to the start of the alphabet?

Race - I don’t think it happens enough for people to be sure Outcasted - The score of the challenge you’d currently be doing going into the vote/next game day There is no final 2 tiebreaker anymore now that there are only 7 jury members

In outcasted, it is allegedly the final competition that decides. However, the one time I was in final 2 with a tie, I won the competition (verified) but lost the game. I think sin said it was a glitch.
