I don’t want minors on this site, Tengaged helped me so much growing up as a 14 15 16 year old truly. I don’t know how I’d have come to terms with my sexuality without it. The group of amazing, confident, flamboyant men I met were all so inspiring to me as a young boy. They accepted parts of themselves so naturally that I couldnt even begin to unpack. I lived in the suburbs and did not have access to gay people irl who would have opened my eyes to it otherwise. Without it, id probably be married to a woman by now. Do I think minors fit the vibe here or have a place here? Not really, no. And it sucks that a few rotten eggs (predators) complicate this matter, but I’d hope any minor that sneaks on here will find a lot more good than they do bad from this community the same way I did on tengaged.

I'm the one who has to bear legal liability if something were to happen. I can confidently say that minors are protected on this site at the moment. But my goal is for there to be thousands more online users than we currently have now. When the site reaches that point, I cannot in good faith guarantee the safety of minors. Even the biggest platforms like Roblox are facing lawsuits for not being able to protect the safety of minors, and they have teams of people who get paid to do that. "Minors can still lie and sign up" well then the liability falls on that kid's parents. We'll do the best we can to keep them out but at the end of the day, parents also need to be monitoring what their kids are doing online. From a legal standpoint, it takes the liability off of us. Minors that are already on this website can stay with parental guidance. It wouldn't be fair to remove them from the platform now, and there's very few of them that we can keep track and ensure their safety. Also, minors are usually annoying as fuck. The minors on Tengaged were annoying as fuck. I was one of them!

I would say yes but I also know that a community like this offers a lot to queer reality tv fans in their late teens who might not feel like they belong anywhere. Like despite the horrible stuff we went through on Tengaged, it did give me a home when I didn't have one growing up. So I honestly don't know.

Perm banned users have had the option to either create a new account or return to their previous account after a 2 month (or more) wait period but have their points/coins reset, and their honour set to 5. After discussing it with the moderators, we're no longer allowing permed users to create new accounts starting now - they must return to their old accounts. This is so that both moderators and users can keep track of who that user is and their history. They will only be permitted to create new accounts upon reaching honour level 25 (this applies to all users). Perm bans should not be confused with *Blanket Bans*.
