Can we not end races early

I’m still trying to be strategic with my money and think about whether to spend and the race just ends and I just get elim because I didn’t have time. Races aren’t long either…. So there’s no reason for the early ending!

bc i never lock "walk" if im walking and it still ends early
it ends when epople end their comp Light. not transpo
Someone said they thought that only happens if everyone finishes the game and locks in a transpo option. But I feel like sometimes it ends early even without me selecting a placeholder transpo option?
I swear the rounds are sooo short too like I’m rushing to do everything in time. comp, talk to your partner and choose travel and it’s done in like 30 seconds
yeah this just happened to me too i couldnt spend my money in time!!
the way we got out bc DC ended early and u didnt tell me ur score so i couldnt strategize LMFAO
