#DNTM4 Photoshoot 1 Review. I'm back baby! I am going to go back to critiquing photos this season, but I will be doing things a little differently. I will be ranking the photos 1-10 based on 4 key elements that make up a good photo: Pose, Face, Styling, and Overall photo composition. Then if someone didn’t follow the brief I will take off 1 point for a minor infraction or 3 points for a major infraction from the average. (ALSO please remember I only critique photos in good spirits so if you choose to read them they might help you in future photos. I point out more flaws than positives just to help out, not to try to make anyone feel bad) MissMiranda Pose: 6 Face: 8 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 I know it is hard to cram the model into a small box without looking short, but I would have liked to see your legs extend out of the box because right now they look very short. The outfit is the same color as the padding in the box and somehow your hair, so it all sort of blends together. For a first photo its pretty good and I can see the potential for sure! Total Score: 6.75 tjamal9106 Pose: 8 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Overall Photo Composition: 6 I like this photo. The color pallet is clean and gives luxury. Your proportions are a bit off with your head/body and I think maybe to add a little more balance to the photo the box could have been tilted diagonally or a few less packages behind you pulling focus. Overall a great first entry and excited to see more from you! Total score: 7.0 Manon Pose: 7 Face: 8 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 6 I think you look stunning in the photo. I like the pose but given what you are wearing you are not showing off the bows very well. The dress would work better if we could see the detailing in the front. The hip area also has a weird flow to it and the bottom leg should be shown. The rest looks luxury and clean. Total score: 6.75 minus 1.0 for minor brief infraction: 5.75 final score. Vanili Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 6 A couple of minor things could have taken this photo from safe to top photo. The pose is nearly there, but the shadow makes you lose some of your neck, and the hand above looks like you are holding a bar. Try making the hand a bit softer, or maybe press it against the edge of the box. I also think losing your other leg in the dress brings the score down for me. The last thing that would have made this photo score go up a lot would be adding in another color to contrast somewhere. The background in the box could have been some other color to help add some balance to the photo (white, silver, or even something with a different texture). This was a good first entry but if you focus on some of those small details, I could see you thriving in the next few photos. Total score: 6.25 Zee_ Pose: 9 Face: 8 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 8 This is a stunning photo. Great use of length for the pose. The box looks luxury. The only minor flaws would be the top hand is getting hidden behind the hair and could have added a bit more tension to the photo pressed against the ceiling which I think it is but hidden behind the hair. I like the simplicity of the composition and the use of shadows, but there is just a liiiiiiitle something extra missing for me to make the composition score go up. Great job overall! Total Score: 8.25 Amandasings04 Pose: 8 Face: 7 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 8 I personally don’t like the velvet walls, but I didn’t dock anything for that because I think it does fit the theme and adds good texture to the photo and compliments the outfit choice well. The photo overall is good and its clear you understand high fashion, but it just lacks something to make it really stand out. Maybe it is the shape of the jacket or a bit more clarity on the size of the box so the story makes more sense, I’m not sure. Total Score: 7.75 minus 1.0 for minor brief infraction for a total score of 6.75 Marilise Pose: 7 Face: 9 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 I like this photo, but some minor things are adding up to reduce some points. I am all for awkward pose angles as I think they make for a high fashion photo, but your hip area doesn’t look quite right. The legs are great and the top hand is good (Vanili take a note here). I can’t tell if the bow in your other hand is a clutch or part of the dress. I think it works better as a clutch but its not clear. The composition score was lowered due to the all-red dress, bow, and fabric in the box, and the bow on the box looking a bit wonky. Still a good first entry. Total Score: 7.25 Marquis Pose: 5 Face: 8 Styling: 7 Overall Photo Composition: 9 The concept is great and one of the most luxury looking photos for sure. Smart choice using diamonds for that. The pose got such a low score because although the upper body is strong your legs look pretty short and then one of your feet are missing completely. I think if you had your body going a bit more left to right across the width of the photo that would have dramatically helped the pose. The rest of the photo is quite good! Total score: 7.25 Fireflyyy Pose: 7 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Overall Photo Composition: 7 The photo is probably the best definition of safe. Theres nothing outstanding but also nothing glaringly bad about it. I enjoy the use of different textures in the outfit, and the closer crop does make your photo different than most, but it just lacks something that would make the photo jump off the page. It is almost too commercial I think. Again, good photo, but just want to see you push the concept a bit further to give it some edge. Total score: 7.0 LeQuishaQ Pose: 6 Face: 9 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 9 I love this photo. The use of the chocolates was really smart because it enhances the colors/textures of the photo and makes you stand out in the photo, and also stand out among the pack. I ranked the pose a 6 because whenever you do this kind of pose you really have to watch the back leg proportions. Tilt both a bit more to the side and you won’t look like they are getting stumpy on you. Otherwise, top notch entry. Total Score: 8.0 GuiltyAsSin Pose: 8 Face: 8 Styling: 9 Overall Photo Composition: 9 Love this photo. The simplicity of the composition puts all the focus on the amazing dress. It’s giving Tyra vibes. The only thing is I wish the eyes were smizing because we lose a little bit of the emotion in the face, but that’s basically my only issue with the photo. Maybe to be able to see your shoes, but I get the dress choice makes that forgivable because it makes sense we wouldn’t see a shoe unless you were walking. Total Score: 8.5 melanie Pose: 6 Face: 6 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 6 For a returning model I expected a bit more. Nothing in the photo makes it stand out for me, but there is only one stand out issue and that is the missing hand. I think the hand gets lost behind the legs and then gets cut off. Overall the photo is fine but for a returning player you can do better. Total Score: 6.0 SpaceLab Pose: 7 Face: 8 Styling: 5 Overall Photo Composition: 6 You as the model look great. The bent leg looks a liiiiitle wonky, but the grip of the tie and the facial expression are all great. You just need a new stylist and creative director lol. The photo isn’t giving luxury. I obviously get birthday, but I get child’s birthday party, and so a few different color choices could have elevated the photo a lot. Like even changing the wrapping paper would make a huge difference. Overall, strong potential as a model, just do some research on some high fashion editorials for some styling inspirations in the future. Total score: 6.5 CupidStunt Pose: 7 Face: 6 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 6 This photo is relying on pretty too much. The face is just a bit blank stare for me. I do love the choice of coloring and textures that really saves the photo. I personally hate when it cuts the feet off half way, otherwise the pose is pretty good, but when combined with the face it just lacks that extra umph that this photo desperately needs. Total score: 6.75 Antog Pose: 9 Face: 8 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 7 This is how you do a comeback. Overall the photo is very strong. The few things that hold it back for me would be the background. This pose/outfit/styling are all super strong you could have left the extra boxes and whatever fantasy lighting is happening near the top and just simplified it and the photo would be much cleaner and impactful. But like I said this is how you make a comeback. Total Score: 8 Fancy Pose: 7 Face: 7 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 Safe photo to start the competition. I like you made the pillow white and textured, but then choosing a soft pink for the outfit made it a bit less impactful overall. The face could have been a bit stronger but I do like the parted lips. Be careful when you have a limb pointed directly to camera like the arm on the right of the photo, it looks short and cut off. Hate the shoe personally, but I enjoy the risk you took with it. Total score 6.75 NotNicky333 Pose: 5 Face: 6 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 I get the concept, but the execution could have been better. I am not opposed to a smile but the smile here isn’t giving nerdy as much. You are relying on the glasses to give nerdy which means you didn’t push the concept far enough. Cutting off your lower half also did not help the score. I get what you were going for, but just some execution errors. Total score: 6 1. Guily 8.5 2. Zee 8.25 3/4 Antog/Lequisha 8.0 5/6 Marilise/Marquis 7.25 7/8 Firefly/TJ 7.0 9/10/11/12 Cupid/Fancy/Amanda/ Miranda 6.75 13 Space 6.5 14 Vanili 6.25 15/16 NotNicky Melanie 17 Manon The bottom two I think would be NotNicky and Manon, as I probably scored Melanie a bit harsher since she is a returnee and I don't think she will be bottom 2 at all. I think GuiltyAsSin, Antog, LequishaQ, and Zee_ all have a chance for top photo and are clearly the best photos this week. Well done!

Hello models. Welcome to my mini-series where I'll be reviewing week by week submissions of #DNTM4 and ranking them on my personal Flop-O-Meter. As a survivor of DNTM S3 - where I was practically the resident 'flop of the week'- I know how much blood, sweat and tears go into these photos. This is all light hearted, tough love feedback from someone who has flopped and been in your shoes! Disclaimer - I am in no way affilated with DNTM, all opinions are strictly my own. Now Let's see who served fashion.... and who landed a little too high on the Flop-O-Meter. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👢THE HIGH FLOPS 👢 (Scores:8-10/10) NotNicky333 - Flop Rating - 9.1/10 For week a one submission, this isn't terrible! However, you need to lose the "animated" face and make it more realistic. It looks like we are looking a doll - which would work great if you were inside a toy box... but your box surroundings mentions data, so I don't really understand the correlation. Poor week but change your face and you have got it! Vanili - Flop Rating - 8.9/10 I don't really enjoy this at all. The raised arm is positioned awkwardly, and your face looks bored, like you do not want to be here. Having just one leg poking out is a weird decision, I know the other leg is under there something but it breaks the illusion. It kind of looks like you're in a coffin? SpaceLab - Flop Rating - 8.8/10 I dislike this a lot. you look like a children's entertainer, and I really dislike the dots scattered around your outfit. This isn't fashion. However, for week 1, it's not a complete disaster. I appreciate you pushing the boat out and trying something different. I just think you should have leaned into the balloon aspect rather than the spots. Marquis - Flop Rating - 8.7/10 Honestly, I'm not sure. It looks very Game of Thrones. I don't really like the way your hair is styled. I do like the cushioning you're lying on, but with everything being silver, it washes you out. You could have used another colour on the outfit to really stand out. Right now, the actual box design is more interesting than the model. Manon - Flop Rating - 8.4/10 This is a clean shot. But you are not the gift here. You look the CEO of the factory. The random bow on your leg is a bit off-putting. Your face and hair look great, but the outfit is very boring and dare I say, ugly. GuiltyAsSin - Flop Rating - 8.2/10 I'm on the fence. The outfit is very "out there", but I'm just not getting gift from it. It looks like you are standing in a museum for everyone to look at, and the background doesn't help. The outfit is so eccentric that you lose focus on the face, which is a shame because she is a beautiful model. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⚖️ The Mid-Tier Flops ⚖️ (Scores 4.0-7.9/10) MissMiranda - Flop Rating - 6.5/10 What are you looking at? There was really no need for it, and it looks quite awkward. Are you posing with the certifcate? for what reason? I also wish you were shoes. On the positive side, your face is gorgeous, the hair lovely, and the outfit is good but could have been enhanced slightly. It's a safe photo! tjamal9106 - Flop Rating - 6.2/10 I think I like this? I mean, you look great and the face is good. I'm not entirely sure about the silver wrapped around you, though. It looks a bit mummifying. That said, you look expensive and you actually fit the brief, which a lot of these girls completely missed. Marilise - Flop Rating - 6/10 I like this, but something looks off and I think it is the pose. The model looks a bit uncomfortable, and I think you could have served face a lot more. There is a LOT of red fabric. Is the bow attached to your dress? It looks a little messy for the eye. AmandaSings04 - Flop Rating - 5.5/10 This is the one that definitely stands out to me. you went for a different approach, styling wise. The face could be stronger, and I think there is an AI issue with your left hand. Apart from that, I love it! Black and my pink are a great combo. Antog - Flop Rating - 5.3/10 I like this, but there is a lot going on, which takes away from your face. Your left leg looks strangely long and the foot is weirdly arches. However, I absolutely love the hair and the outfit with the attached beads. Fancy - Flop Rating - 4.7/10 This is good. Though, does your model have pink eye? It's off-putting and I am sorry if your model has a disability and this can't be helped. I hope you can find a way to style this out without being the focus of the image. Apart from that, It's a clean photo. I'm not a fan of how the hat is just floating on your head though, I think you could have lost the hat entirely. Love the black boots! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👑 The Safe Zone 👑 CupidStunt - Flop Rating - 3.2/10 Love this! You look beautiful. I only wish you were fully inside the box without your legs and feet hanging out, as it looks very awkward. The face also looks heavily airbrushed which takes away from your natural beauty. Melanie - Flop Rating - 1.5/10 I love the lighting in this! The two colours compliment each other beautifully. The legs don't look award at all, unlike CupidStunt, you have mastered the "leg out of the box" look naturally. My only critique is that your face could give slightly more - it looks a little Plain Jane. FireFlyyy - Flop Rating - 1.2/10 This is a great photo and certainly not a flop! Your face is serving, and the corset and boots work beautifully together. Do you look like a gift? I'm not entirely sure. It suffers a bit from looking you're on a display in a museum, but that's just me being nitpicky. Zee_ - Flop Rating - 1.1/10 Flawless! The face is serving, and the closed eyes work beautifully with this particular pose. The outfit is a perfect choice- everything works and nothing outshines your face. The only critique is that, again, I'm not entirely getting "gift" from this, you look like a pageant girl who just won a competition. LeQuishaQ - Flop Rating - 0.1/10 Wow! You look gorgeous, and the face is absolutely serving. You look like a total GIFT, which fits the theme perfectly. You are the main focus, it's a perfect photo, and nothing is out of place. If I had to critique something. maybe the ribbons around your arms and legs could have more of a purpose. Apart from that, Stunning! Week 1 Leaderboard 1. LeQuishaQ 2. Zee 3. Firefly 4. Melanie 5. hiii everyone!! i decided to start a lil series where for each photoshoot on #dntm4 i’m going to post the pictures i made, but didn’t end up using. enjoy!! for the first one, i liked it but i felt like it looked way too bland idk.. it wasnt rlly giving gift and the pose was too simple then, for this one, i felt like it was too bland again. it did have the gift vibe more, but not rlly yet?? there weren’t too many details which i didnt like. i also wasn’t a fan of the face and the background leaked details for the next one, i dont even want to comment. girly looks like she is having an orgasm idk like. and the background is boring!! then this one i really really liked, but i felt like it was too white. there isnt rlly any lighting, its just a picture yk without professional shades and lightfalls. but i do like it ultimately i used the one above as a base and added more lighting and such to it and small details which resulted in the final product:) let me know your thoughts!

REVIEEEEEEW I’m giving my personal opinions and my rankings and I’m tooting and booting each photos for this challenge and how well the people do. #dntm4 Theme for the week: 🎁 Gift Wrapped 🎀 Models have to give a photo shoot as presents. Bows, ribbons, ect. Im excited to see this. New people, new season, new taste I cannot wait! That sounds like a fun challenge! REMINDER: these are my opinions! I respect everyone in the game. I know this shit is not easy as well. I was a contestant too. So please do not take my opinions that seriously! First up: MissMiranda Okay it’s a very clean photo, I like you were going for a limited edition approach. It’s only week one. I’m not to crazy for the prop, the card kinda make it a bit cheesy in my opinion. Everything thing else is fine, just a little safe. But I’m not mad. The color goes well, the lighting is well, I would’ve done a little bit more with the pose if you didn’t had that card. And more ribbons would’ve been nice. But overall you did good. Toot or Boot: Toot! Next up: tjamal9106 I like the color combo! I don’t like the box. I wish the box was bigger because to me it’s making your pose a little cramped up. The pose itself…..is giving a bit more instagram selfie and a little bit safe. But I do like how you used the ribbon , the diamonds, I see where what you were going for x it’s just the small details. Toot or Boot: Soft Toot Next up: Manon Oookay I see what you were going for…………. It’s there…..but not at the same time.I like the emerald and gold……but the element impact for this shoot….is just not as strong enough. The boxes should be more included versus just being in the background. So far, I have seen people using the boxes being inside them and doing all this other stuff. But you have them in the background . The more I’m looking at it….the more I’m saying….this need some more touching up. Toot or boot: Soft boot (there’s some elements that I do like, but this elements that needs a lot more.) Next up: Vanili Black and red, beautiful. Now I would’ve done a closer camera angle, in my opinion or an angle to make the image more bolder. The pose itself…I like the hand on hip, but confused on her hand being up in the air. Back to camera angel situation the reason I’m saying this. It’s because I can’t tell if you’re laying down or standing. Because if you’re standing then that free hand should be more at the box or somewhere else that can connects with purpose. If you’re laying down….I would’ve made the angle show it more. It’s a nice photo….but allot editing need to be done. Overall it’s very nice, but the camera also creates the impact Toot or Boot: I’m iffy I’m looking at it more…… very soft Boot Next up: Zee_ Ooooooo. I like this one. The pose is strong. The facial is strong. The outfit is strong. It’s clean, it’s sharp. I will say because I do like this. I would used a bit more ribbons or bows. But this …chef kiss to me. Toot or Boot: Toot Next up: amandasings04 The outfit…..Fucking cute!! Pink and black can never do any wrong!!! I’m kidnapping the bear! Anyways I would’ve done different with the box. I would’ve take a riskier choice. And make sure the elements for the shoot is more highlighted. Because it does look like you’re just posing on the box. The face is there, the outfit is there. It needs a bit more gifting elements and this photo would’ve sold the fuck out. Toot or boot: soft boot Next up: Marilise Ooooooo this is scandalous and I love it! Everything is clicking together. This shoot got very strong layers. I would’ve been fully in the box and it’s would’ve sold it, but I don’t think you needed to. Toot or Boot: Toot! Next up: Marquis Oooooo okay so far it’s getting stronger and stronger. I love this! It’s bold, the pose is there, I like the outfit, the ribbons and bows were strong. Everything is not being overshadowed. Great job this week. This is what I was talking about on box usage ! Toot or Boot: Strong toot Next up: fireflyyy Okay I see where you were going……it’s to me. This feels very….safe. Something could’ve been added more to make it stand out. But it’s safe. I will say this…..when the competition really gets going….safe is an ugly word. Toot or boot: soft toot Next up: LeQuishaQ See this is a risk that I’m happy to see! Everything is so stroooong. I do like that you were giving the romantic theme and went for a box of chocolates. Now the heart box is a little crooked, and if it wasn’t…. This would’ve been a shoot. Just gotta make sure small things like that get fixed but I know Ai is a pain in The ass! But this gift was well delivered. Toot or Boot: Strong toot! Next up: guiltyAsSin OKAY THE OUTFIT EATS!! I would’ve done a touch up with the camera angle or zoomed in a little more and would’ve made the ribbon and bows a little bit more stronger. And impactful. Toot or Boot: Toot Next up: Melanie Oh this is saaaaaaaaawft. But in a good way! This I can actually see it on a magazine. I know I have thought about box spacing on the other photos. But this one is very acceptable. Not too, big not too small. The pose isn’t cramped up. So this was a very well job done in my opinion. Soft facial expression really gave the photo more of a lighter presence. Toot or boot: Toot! Next up: SpaceLab BWAHAHAHA. Okay this genuinely made me laugh! everyone is doing this serious, sexy , or light photo creation. You decided to go for a birthday party route. AND I LIVE! This is very out of the box, the outfit is fun, your way of thinking it fun. I like that you’re giving more a human side. So I’m very impressed. You looked really pleased with yourself in the photo that is making me laugh! Now the box is there. But I would’ve added just a little bit more stronger elements to the bows and ribbons. But overall great job this week. Toot or Boot: Toot! Next up: cupidstunt You’re really giving Barbie doll with this photo, I do like that your outfit isn’t blending in with the wraps and I like that! The legs are a little for me in my opinion. It’s like the top half is very there….the bottom half needs more work. Overall it’s nice and safe Toot or boot: soft toot Next up: Antog Okay this got me! This is really strong! I love the big bow on your head. I will say this. The pose…. The hand near the bow on your head…..it looks like their trying to make sure it’s not falling off their head, so I’m kinda looking at it like they’re trying to make sure it’s not doesn’t fall, but they don’t want people to know that. I do like the bows and ribbion on the outfit…..but it kinda looks a little clumped up together. Maybe take one bow off and this would’ve been there for me! Toot or boot: TOOT! Next up: Fancy I see where you were going! I’m not mad at it, but it could’ve done a few touch up. Okay I love the outfit, I love the inside of the box, I love the ribbions……the box itself….is blending to much with the background to the point I don’t see the box clearly. It kinda looks like you’re floating on a cloud. I would’ve added a stronger gifting elements. Now, I would’ve made it more demure. Like one of those gift boxes at a tea party. We make it very classy. That is just my opinion. For the box, I would’ve made it more of a lighter color because I almost didn’t see it. Toot or Boot: a very soft boot Next up: NotNicky333 Nicky I love you, you’re my celebs family, just like Amanda……….. I see where you were going………I see the story, I see the vision, I the personality. But……..theirs allot of wrongs in this photo. The more I’m looking at it the more I’m going “Nicky No 🥺” Toot or Boot: Boot TREND ALERT: PRESENTS 🎁 GIFTS 🎁 TOP TOOT: Marquis !!!!!!
