#DNTM4 This week the scores are all super close because to me nearly every photo looked the same with the same pose. It wasn’t a bad pose, but it really made me crave creativity and so I scored those who took chances a bit better because they stood out in the pack. None of the photos really made me say WOW, but they were all pretty well done. MissMiranda Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 7 The photo is good as a standalone, but as I look at all the photos this pose comes up so many times it just can’t be scored super high. Your face is good and I oddly like the hand. I enjoy the open window helping with the story, but the photo composition score got docked a little bit because of the finish having all of the AI bulbs on it. When you get you final photo, ask it to smooth out the textures for you. Total: 6.5 tjamal9106 Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 6 Same comment about the pose situation. Good face but I do think this was the same exact look as last week so be careful of that. I do like the styling overall (white on your skin will always be a great choice) but the whole photo feels a bit obvious to me. The composition score was lowered due to the AI meshing all of the styling choices (the outfit, jacket, wall, balloons) all have the same two colors and although it lends itself to a cohesive look, it is also contributing to the obvious nature of the photo where nothing really stands out. Total: 6.5 manon Pose: 6 Face: 5 Styling: 8 Photo Composition: 8 I like that you tried to do something slightly different with the pose with the angle of it, but your hip ends up looking a little wonky so I kept it at a 6 with everyone else. The face I think doesn’t match the look. The eye makeup being so dark just doesn’t match and the overall face ends up looking a bit amateur glam. I love the choices of colors and mixing in a few different colors so it still looks cohesive but not AI color drenched. I would have scored the styling higher with a better shoe. A clear shoe with black eyes? Overall a better photo than last week though! 6.75 Vanili Pose: 6 Face: 5 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 6 Again same pose so same score, although you did give us some great neck so I was tempted to give this a 7. The face is not giving any emotion though so be careful of that. I do like you went a different route with the styling and although the balloons look a bit too much like grapes (giving me a little PTSD from my grape photoshoot) I do like that it stands out. I do wish their orientation was a bit more balanced though. You are grabbing them all on the left and the ones on the right seem not part of the bunch you are holding. Total: 6.0 Zee_ Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 8 This by itself is a great photo, but a couple of the elements I scored lower due to a lack of creativity. This pose is not only similar to everyone else this week, but also similar to your pose last week. Your styling is also very similar to last week. I like the soft look in the face but wish your eyes would have been open and found a way to give us this same softness with your eyes. I do like that you aren’t holding the balloons and instead they are tied around you so that really helped the overall composition score. The shadows are also good. Total: 6.75 Amandasings04 Pose: 6 Face: 8 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 8 Pose is same as nearly all so same score. The styling matches the theme well and has some high fashion elements to it, but overall just wasn’t super impactful to me. I like the elements you added to make the photo have a uniqueness to it. It does feel very editorial despite almost crossing into Coke commercial. Overall good job! Total: 7.25 Marilise Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 8 It’s a good entry. But among the pack of photos it has too many similar elements to really stand out. The lighting is great, and the choice of colors is strong and I like that you didn’t color drench this time. I think if you had given a unique pose this could have had top photo potential because the composition is most editorial. Watch the texture on the balloons a bit (I’m sure that was a nightmare with AI). Total: 7 Marquis Pose: 6 Face: 4 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 6 I wanted to give this photo a higher score on the pose since it is at least different, but it is different in a worse way. I don’t think the eyes closed with this simple pose works because it all looks a bit dull when combined. If instead you were giving us some eye contact to help the story along, this could have all worked. I like the outfit as a whole, but I scored the composition lower since the clouds took on the same colors as the outfit. Total: 5.75 Fireflyyy Pose: 6 Face: 6 Styling: 5 Photo Composition: 8 Same pose same score. Face is not really matching the overall image to me. I have to say this look is basically your same look from last week but gold, and it got really AI bulby on you. This happens with lots of edits so you want to smooth that back out at the end. I do LOVE the hot air balloon concept it really helps your photo because it stands out at least for that positive. Total: 6.25 LeQuishaQ Pose: 6 Face: 6 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 6 Ok I loved your entry last week, but this is a miss for me this week because you gave us the same dark lighting in a shoot that could have been about a softer side of you. The styling isn’t super high fashion although it is creative. Honestly if this was a day time shoot with everything else the same I think that would have been much much better. All of the details would stand out more and things would flow better I think. Total: 6.0 GuiltyAsSin Pose: 6 Face: 8 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 5 Same pose. Great face. You really know how to model with your face and actually given that your pose was simple last week this is nice to see, it just looks like every other pose. The styling being all black in a dark room does you no favors since we can’t see the details as well. I do love the shoulders on the dress it is a very high fashion element. The composition is weak due to the lighting and the lack of clarity as to where you are. It also makes the balloons not stand out as much. Total: 6.25 Melanie Pose: 6 Face: 5 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 7 Ok the pose is the same as everyone else’s, although of the one leg bent poses this is the most interesting. Unfortunately, two weeks in a row you have an issue with your arms/hands. They look way too long and because they are both straight and have a black glove that goes all the way up it just makes the proportions look a bit off. The dress is fine, but then the darkness of the photo makes it a bit unclear where the dress ends. You have great contrast on your face and I love the high fashion halo look behind you, but I wish there was some of that going on with the dress. Total: 6.0 SpaceLab Pose: 6 Face: 5 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 7 Same pose again, and the face is lacking emotion. The styling is good and I like the concept overall, but the jacket blends into the flowy fabric and I wish there was more clear definition there. The rest of the composition is good though. More high fashion than last week though so moving in the right direction! Total: 6.0 CupidStunt Pose: 8 Face: 8 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 8 I like that you did something different with the pose. Although I don’t like the crotch focus, I forgive it because it’s finally something different. The face is gorgeous. The styling is a bit meh for me but overall with the photo theme it works. It’s just something we have seen so much of. Still I’m thinking this is the best photo this week for sure. Total: 7.75 Antog Pose: 6 Face: 6 Styling: 6 Photo Composition: 8 Pose face and styling are all just a bit safe. The overall photo works because you elevated the theme with the story you are telling. The other elements all needed a bit of something extra to really elevate this though. Total: 6.5 Fancy Pose: 7 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Photo Composition: 6 I like you tried something different with the pose. I marked that higher than the rest because it was different, but I did mark you down on composition because the pose itself with the rest of the image just feels slightly disconnected. There is a bit too much going on for it to be a clean polished final product, but still a good photo. Total: 6.75 Top photo is CupidStunt for sure. Bottom 2 for me is Marquis and Vanili I think but it was a tough call. I still enjoyed those two photos so I don’t know who will actually be bottom 2.

Hello models. Welcome to my mini-series where I'll be reviewing week by week submissions of #DNTM4 and ranking them on my personal Flop-O-Meter. As a survivor of DNTM S3 - where I was practically the resident 'flop of the week'- I know how much blood, sweat and tears go into these photos. This is all light hearted, tough love feedback from someone who has flopped and been in your shoes! Disclaimer - I am in no way affilated with DNTM, all opinions are strictly my own. Now Let's see who served fashion.... and who landed a little too high on the Flop-O-Meter. 🚨 The Biggest Flops (Flop Rating 7.0 - 10) 🚨 Fancy - Flop Rating 9/10 The styling here is an absolute dream to look at, unfortunately the illusion completely shatters when we look at the posing. I just don't understand how one would logically sit like that while floating away on balloons. It defies physics in a way that feels awkward rather than magical. Sadly, this is a major miss for me. Manon - Flop Rating 8.6/10 This is one is a bit of an eyesore, darling. The brief called for light and effortless, but this feels heavy, clunky and stiff. The random balloons scattered of the floor make the entire composition look messy, where is she even supposed to be? I do like the how the outfit flows with her body, but the rigid pose ruins the fantasy. Melanie - Flop Rating 8/10 I am so torn by this. At first glance, this is stunning. The arm and leg placement against that sky background creates a gorgeous silhoutte. But the longer I look, the more it falls apart. When I turn my head to analyze the model, the face looks discombobulated, puffy and completely wonky. High fashion requires execution from head to toe, and the face let you down here. Fireflyyy - Flop Rating 7.8/10 Your model's face is an absolute serve, easily one of the best faces this week. However, unlike the other girls, this photo fails to deliver a believable illusion. It feels incredibly far-fetched and unrealistic. I appreciate you took a risk by avoiding the literal use of 'balloons', but for me personally, that gamble didn't pay off. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⚠️ The Medium Flops (Flop Rating 3 - 6.9) ⚠️ Marquis - Flop Rating 5/10 This is a clean, magical and deeply relaxing image to look at. That said, your model's face should never be an afterthought, and right now the body is doing all the heavy lifting. The right leg and foot placement feel anatomically off, and the colour story is conflicting, pastel balloons would have bridged the gap between the contrasting light and dark elements much better. AmandaSings04 - Flop Rating 4.5/10 Well, this is certainly a moment. I have to give you major props for always standing out, in a sea of models who blend together, being unforgettable is a massive asset. It's camp in the best way possible. My main note is going forward is to rely on more your models modelling powers rather than hiding behind loud props and busy backgrounds. Zee_ - Flop Rating 4/10 Your model looks utterly flawless, and the styling is gorgeous. Pulling off a silhouette that actually matches the models identity is incredibly difficult in AI, so kudos for mastering that. However, the details drag it down. The left leg looks abnormally elongated, and the left hand feels tense. A photo this elegant demanded a much softer, more intentional hand pose. Antog - Flop Rating 3.9/10 Oh I love a photo that tells a story, and this narrates a beautiful, magical fairytale that requires no explanation. Her hair looks stun and she feels effortless. To level up, I think you need to focus more on the facial expression. Most importantly, you must notice the AI errors on your hands. The mangled fingers are a distraction that drags down an otherwise beautiful shot. MissMiranda - Flop Rating 3.5/10 This is a beautiful shot. The face is giving exactly what it needs to, the outfit is stunning, and the background storytelling fits the brief perfectly. My only note is the hands. I know AI hands are a total pain in the ass but the distortion here stands out and breaks the illusion. Perfect those details and I think you will be a dark horseee!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⭐️ The Safe zone (Flop Rating 0-2.9) ⭐️ CupidStunt - Flop Rating 2.8/10 A lovely, whimsical photo. The way she is being lifted effortlessly by both her arms and legs makes the entire pose make sense, which gives you a huge leg up over the other girls who tried this. My only critique is that the model still looks slightly plastic. Thankfully, the face is less airbrushed than the body, which saves the realism of the shot. Tjamal9106 - Flop Rating 2/10 This is a lovely photo, but if feels very similar to your execution last week. The outfit and styling are an absolute chef's kiss, and while the relaxed vibe works for this week's effortless theme, the facial expression is bordering basic. Personally, I think the public would love to see you to take bigger risks and deliver a much stronger, more commanding face!! LeQuishaQ - Flop Rating 2/10 Once again, you came and did the damn thing. You look flawless, and the face is serving pure high fashion. One minor tech note, it's a bit of a struggle to see your hair in this lighting. I really wanted to see it because I love how you cleverly integrated the golden strands of the balloons to compliment your hair. SpaceLab - Flop Rating 1.8/10 This shoot was supposed to feel light, effortless dream sequence that puts the viewer at ease, and you mastered that beautifully. This IS fashion. It is a stunning photo, though your face looks a tad too relaxed. A touch more emotion would have elevated it. It's early days, so you got away with playing it safe but Lets see some risks mama. Marilise - Flop Rating 1.8/10 Wow, what a moment. You look polished, regal and beautiful rising up in this grand hall. The flow of the dress is gorgeous. There's a fascinating optical illusion with the lighting being lower on one side, I'm not sure if this intentional or not but it sort of looks like you're touching a reflective floor. Vanili - Flop Rating 1/10 What a massive step up from last week. I am obsessed with this. It perfectly encapsulates effortless and your model look weightless among the balloons. The styling of the floral dress against the backdrop is genius. You are the unedinable focus point here, and my eyes went straight to your face. Really, really spectacular work. GuiltyAsSin - Flop Rating 0.9/10 Talk about an improvement. The dark, avant-garde theme is spectacular, the styling is stunning and the fabric literally looks like it was constructed out of popped balloons. I don't have any critiques for this. Some might call it a safe photo, but the execution is flawless. REVIEEEEEEW I’m giving my personal opinions and my rankings and I’m tooting and booting each photos for this challenge and how well the people do. #dntm4 Theme for the week: 🎈Floating 🎈 Models have to create the illusion of floating using balloons as the main element of your image. Which that sounds Fun!!!! So I'm really expeting to see some suprising elements here! Week 2 I cannot wait to see REMINDER: these are my opinions! I respect everyone in the game. I know this shit is not easy as well. I was a contestant too. So please do not take my opinions that seriously! Also Another disclaimer! I am tooting and booting in real time. As I do the photo one by one. I going by it once! Making first opnions! When I do my rankings that's when I look everything back! Anyways let's get started!!!! first up: MissMiranda ooooookay, this is a very clean photo. I do like that it's more night time, which compliments everything. Love that it's making it feel like you're just floating on by in the city. I like how your pose is more angled which is how it's giving the illusion. The balloons, in general. I like how the strands matches the bottom part of the dress. I love how the white balloons aren't red because that would've overwhelm it, so to me I like that choice. I would changed the facial rection a bit more. You look a little scared to me instead of whimsical or something flattering. that's just me. Overall great job. Toot or Boot: Toot! Up Next: tjamal9106 This is another crisp photo0. I like how clean it is. I see where you we're going with the photo. I would've amped it a little bit. The face to me is what I'm iffy about. you look a little to straightforward. I would've played with it a little more softer, but I do know for male models it's hard. I like the outfit, I like how the cape isn't stiff. Overall I think you did well. toot or boot: toot next up: Manon Okay this is allot better than you're last photo, Major flowers! I will say be careful because it looks like you're standing on a balloon. I will say it looks like you're focusing on to much on the camera and that can be a little bad in some challenges. I would've, yeah focus on the camera, but actually living more in the moment of the photo. That what also sells the picture, if you're too stuck on looking at the camera it won't be a whole thing, let the picture breathe and ease on up. But overall you did very well. Like I said the little details matters toot or Boot: Soft toot next up: Vanili OOOOOOOO. Okay I really like this. I like how you went with more of a earthly floral route. eveything fit's together...this is really strong. I will say be careful on the small details because I see the balloon string in the pile of balloons, but over great job. toot or boot: toot next up: Zee_ I see what you did there! you went more of a puppetter route. I will say this. be careful! because shadows are so hard to to copy! If the shadow don't match...it will break everything apart instead of being together. to me shadows are traps! but over all, the outfit is lovely, I love the pose, I don't get the balloon string on the dress, I don't think you needed it. But overall it's nice. I will say this I would've added something into the room to take it up a notch toot or boot: soft toot next up: Amandasings04 I'm stealing the bear! this is a very clean picture . I do wish you can be a little higher because it looks like you're on the ice/water. But over all I like the outfit, I like the crystal clear balloons, it matches with the enviornment. toot or boot: toot next up: Marilise Okay so far everyone has been doing good! This is WOW! I love the color scheme, I love that you're not close to the ground, I love it's giving high class royal fantasy. This is wow. This defienetly strong. I Iove it! The pose, the face everything is completmenting each other. This is how it should be done. Toot or boot:A VERY STRONG TOOT next up: Marquis see this is what I was talking about for some people. you don't need to be looking at the camera every single time. This is great! I will say this, be very careful with the legs! It looks a little mushed up in one pant leg, I would've had the legs a little bit more separately. I do like how you played with the different shades of purple mixed in with lavender. It complements it very well. To me you know how to play with your colors! The balloons, be very careful because it looks a little weird. It looks like you're holding like 5-6 strings in your hand. The balloons itself kinda look like balls with strings attached, maybe I just can't see the end piece because the colors of balloons. I would just make sure to really look at the photo more carefully. toot or boot:a very Soft thin line toot next up: Fireflyyy you're in the air.....check, the outfit is beautiful....check........the balloons though....I see where you were going for. I see the risk you were doing......It's kinda not there for me. At first I was like....where's the balloons? And then I realize.....oh Okay I found them...but it looks a little bit messy. Is it unique, yes, is it another take from the group, yes. I see the vision. I would've just cleaned it up a little bit more. The way that the chains and ribbons are...it's a little to much going on it's making my eye's going everywhere. this to me could've done a little bit more touching up. And then at one part you have a ribbon...molding as a chain......mmmmmmm I don't know how to feel about it. Yhe photo feels cluttered. toot or boot: soft boot next up: LeQuishaQ THAT IS BOLD! I love how people were trying to do a soft take, but here you are being bold as hell!!!!! I got no notes This eats! everything screams so boldly and so clear. that means I gotta get extra picky with you now! toot or boot: A VERY STRONG TOOT next up: GuiltyAsSin Ummm okay, when I'm thinking of this them...I'm more thinking of the person not touching the ground....now you do look light on you're toes...I would've done a just a couple more inches off the ground just like zee's. she wasn't in the air...but a least she was hovering more. It's a nice photo.....I don't get the flying pieces of....fabric/paper...to me I don't think that was necessary but overall toot or boot: I'm giving it a toot next up: melanie OOOO I love how the balloons glow and reflects (nice touch)! Love the pose. In my opinion, I said this to another person, I would've just lived in the moment of the picture and stare at the camera. Just so it can elevate the photo a little more. I still love the softness of the photo. I hope for the next shoot, go more on the edge. toot or boot: Toot up next: SpaceLab Okay I like where you were going with it. I kinda feel like you don't need the extra fabric, but then I kinda see you didn't want to be simple.....it's just a little of putting. Because you're wearing a jacket....but then it looks like the jacket is descending into the flowing fabric on the bottom, but then the flowing fabric is on the shoulder of the jacket......I just think a little bit more editing would've made this cleaner. The pose is safe. The facial expression...is safe. you're face is saying..........yeah I'm just floating (I don't know why you're making me laugh with these photos) it looks like you're annoyed in a funny way. I would say make sure the edit is clear and facial expression isn't blank , I would've cut the fabric from the jacket shoulder and just have the bottom of the jacket fully flow. toot or boot: A very thin line toot up next: CupidStunt okay this is very pretty, very soft very elegant, this photo is very breatheable and I love that. everything fit together the way it should. I like the pose, it's simple but effective. toot or boot: Toot up next: Antog Okay I got the symbolic meaning of the photo! I wish the ballerina in the photo didn't have 4 arms it kinda makes it feel off putting. Overall this is very nice. I woud've taken the outfit up a notch a little bit more, so it can stay on the fashion sense because it does look a little costumey. (in my opinion). toot or boot: toot up next: Fancy you defeinetly went with the literal approach, this is a huge step up from last time! The pose is very risky (And I love risk) I would say just be more aware when taking a risk because it can be misinterpreted because it does look like you're kinda sitting on something. I took a risk. I know. Ordinary balloons were never really an option for me. I couldn't quite get past the personal memories I associate with them, so instead of forcing myself into an idea that didn't feel right, I took a risk and went with hot-air balloons in Cappadocia. ✨ Hopefully it'll be appreciated and not seen as me pushing the idea too far. 🥹 Also, thanks to LeQuishaQ idea, here's my AI's original “masterpiece”. Ngl guys this was a STRUGGLE Coming off the high of week 1, the pressure was real I wanted to stand out! I thought what if my model used the strings as her outfit and was all tangled up but was still able to serve FIERCE I’m happy but not overjoyed, tbf ChatGPT gave me this image first so from where I started I think it came A LONG WAY 😂😂😂 #dntm4

I am more than thankful that I was breathing in LeQuishaQ 's neck last week for the win. Congrats one more time girl, but I will remember that you didn't take me to the SPA ! Anyways, lets talk about the new round! The task of floating around on balloons surrealistically turned out to be a bit of a problem for my model. After the 50th try , he decided to take a break on the floor and said that he is done and he needs to rest. I fed him chocolate sweets and a vodka redbull cocktail to get him up on his feet and to meet the standards of the competition with his surreal looks! #DNTM4

I definitely think I went with the right one lol. I changed themes completely because felt like the cyberpunk aesthetic didn't really fit with the photoshoot theme so re-thought it entirely #DNTM4

Surviving the first round was already an achievement, but making it through the second round would be even better. This challenge required working with balloons and creating the illusion that my model was floating. I wanted to do something more creative than simply having her hold a bunch of balloons, so I came up with the idea of portraying her as a marionette. In this concept, the balloons are the force pulling her into the pose, almost as if they are controlling her movements. I’ve always loved elegant and beautiful dresses, so I decided to go in that direction for the styling. To make the image more dramatic and visually interesting, I added a shadow that brings extra depth and detail to the scene. I intentionally kept the background quite simple because the dress is already large and eye-catching. I didn’t want to overcrowd the composition or distract from the main subject. So far, Kovaze has given me positive feedback, which I'm very happy about, but I would love to hear more thoughts and opinions from all of you. See you next round, hopefully. #DNTM4
