Hi all, exciting things are happening this week on Kovaze. 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽 The Upgrade Shop is now live where you can purchase upgrades for your accounts! More upgrades will be coming in the future. We've heard some of the feedback on the prices of the current upgrades, but we want account upgrades to be a gradual and rewarding process. For now, we want upgrades to remain valuable. 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 A major Outcasted update will go live in 32 hours. The update will apply to all active games but should not be too distruptive to the existing gameplay. For those in an Outcasted, consider this a twist, and use this time to adjust your strategies accordingly. - Idols (and future advantages) will now be hidden inside of a map with 64 locations. - 8 of those locations will be the beach, where you can fish for food for your tribe. - There will be a water well to collect water for your tribe. Water will give you energy to search for idols and hunt for food. - Each game will have its own weather that changes throughout the day. The weather will range from 0 to 44 Celsius (or 32 to 111 Farenheit). - Hotter weather means you will have to drink more water! - When fishing, you are not always guaranteed a catch. The game will only announce successful catches. The game will not announce if you actually went fishing or if you went to search for an idol instead. - A hungry tribe will lose tribe morale, reducing their competition scores. The idea: we want Outcasted to feel like the real show, and that's exactly what we're hoping with this update. You will have to work with your tribe to collect enough food to ensure your tribe stays healthy, but if your tribemates are secretly hunting for idols when they should be fishing, your tribe will inevitably become hungrier and weaker. Other changes (this will not affect existing games): - Game size increased from 16 to 18 to allow for 3-tribe games. The Outcasted Update will be explained in more detail on the day, and we'll be here to answer any questions you may have! (Note: Some of the changes listed here may be tentative). 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲 Royale will launch on the 25th of January (in 6 days). As this game is very large, we are doing a *soft* launch so we can assess the game in a low-risk environment. This will mean that we will be limiting the cast size for the first game, selected by a public draw (a reaping? 😱). The game shouldn't take long to finish though, and we'll open it up to the public immediately afterwards. For those not selected, you'll be able to watch the game and place your bets! More on this soon. 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟳 With everything coming out this week, we're pushing sign-ups back by a week or two to not overwhelm everyone. As you may have heard, the theme for this season will be Traitors Inspired. The public will be heavily involved in this season, and will help our cast catch the traitors by banishing one of their sacrificial offerings! 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 The next competition to update will be Lucky Drop. We're aiming to make the game more fun and interactive by adding some pinball style flippers that you can control which will give you a bit of agency in the game. We've also been made aware of the Guitar bug with notes not registering on Mobile, and after some investigation, it seems this is an issue with iPhones preventing you from tapping 5 spots at once, however it seems you can fix it by enabling it on your phone's settings. We'll investigate this more and look into it, and if you have an iPhone feel free to join the investigation! 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 We’ve recently been made aware of new websites launching that attempt to replicate the reality-game concept using AI web building tools. We have not been able to verify the safety and security of these platforms, and ask that you do not mention them on Kovaze. Remember to be diligent when signing up to any website, ensuring the proper practices are implemented to protect you and your data. Kovaze's codebase consists of over 150,000 lines of code, and a fully self-managed virtual server with DDOS protection and Scraper Bot prevention. AI cannot reproduce the level of cyber security required to protect you from the ever evolving threat of hackers. Remember to trust and support real Computer Scientists! Hello friends!!!! It is DOOM here, andI feel like it is FINALLY time to speak openly, because my recent absence has probably felt noticeable and unexplained because I logged out without fully saying anything LMFAOOOO. I know I am usually present, consistent, and involved on the blogs page and very open too with my life and the going ons (without saying TOO much), so going quiet without context is not something I take lightly. The truth is, the reason for my inactivity on Kovaze lately has been something genuinely shocking, emotional, and life changing, something that I didn't tell ANYONE except one user about.... I have been on my honeymoon!!!!!!! Mine and LEXEY’s honeymoon in fact! :D Even typing that still feels UNREAL in the best way possible!!!! This chapter of my life arrived softly but powerfully, and once it did, everything else faded into the background. The days blurred together in the most beautiful sense. Time slowed down. Priorities shifted. For once, life was not about keeping up, posting, responding, or staying visible. It was about being present, intentional, and fully grounded in love with my soulmate and wife =] I have truly enjoyed my time away. More than I can properly put into words. It was a period of rest, laughter, connection, and emotional safety. Mornings without alarms, evenings without distractions, conversations that went on for hours, and that rare sense of peace where you feel exactly where you are meant to be. I chose to step back quietly because this was something I wanted to protect, not be ridiculed for by people who do not know me, not to rush, and not dilute by having a constant online presence. This time away has changed me in a way that feels calm, mature, and deeply rooted. It reminded me that life continues beyond screens, that some milestones deserve to be lived before they are explained, and that happiness does not always need an audience. I do not regret a single moment of choosing myself and my marriage. That any negativity I face on here is by people who do not know my name, know how I even look, know who I am at all bar some silly blogs on a website! Because of this, I want to be honest, going forward I will not be as active as I once was. Not out of disinterest or distance, but because my life has grown in a direction that now asks for more presence offline. LEXEY and I are now trying for a baby (and not one just HER avatar can wear!!!) and that alone reshapes everything. Our focus is on building a future, creating a family, and nurturing a life that is just beginning to unfold :) That does not mean I am gone. It means I am living. It means my energy is being shared carefully, intentionally, and with love. I will still be here, just more quietly, more selectively, and more grounded than before. I am a 28 year old man who has been on sites like this since I was 9 years old, I have had my online beefs, had my gameplay moments, and had my time in the spotlight! It is time for me to step aside and let others enjoy it as I have =] Thank you to those who noticed my absence, those who made blogs/sent mails/made comments too, who held space without demanding explanations, and who continue to show understanding and support! But until KOVAZE is a mainstream sight with a larger player base, Elo is just creating a BIGGER problem because it is then EASIER to premade because if your entire friend group is in the game obviously you will maintain high elo because you have the same people covering you every game. Additionally it creates kliques and makes hysteria very repetitive. So how about we keep elo but do not let elo determine who is in what game? sin

First off I rlly appreciate all the people that bought from me, it means so much to me that people liked backgrounds that I edited so much <33 I was only really wanting to make a small profit off the shop as I spent 2.4k to get it and obviously backgrounds are not everyone's thing , but I made 860 and I'm super happy with that! Wanted to give an extra special shoutout to cheesecake Clash and Rain who bought 3 or more backgrounds from me and really helped me get into that profit margin, but everyone who bought something has my appreciation and if you bought something and I didn't see it due to time zones ect, thank you so much <33 - On top of that, I did have a few messages being bitchy and complaining that my backgrounds were priced too high, and I understand that if they are not your cup of tea that's fine, but I did actually put time and effort into a lot of those backgrounds and didn't just take them off of the internet and clicked post lol, fine tuning, adding shapes and designs on top of the backgrounds and filtering them to look unique and different to anything that's already on here. I think it was frustrating at times to hear these things from ppl and slightly discouraged me and I think to anyone who wants to talk negatively about peoples designs on here to their face you should rlly just leave it bc people put time into this stuff whether you see it or not. - Thank you so much again to everyone who supported my shop! I officially launch my business (home bakery) and I’m so nervous & excited to see what the year has in store for me. It’s one thing to have your friends/family tell you what you make taste good, but definitely causing some anxiety for potential strangers to make or break me! 😂

and ill rate you based on your hysteria gameplay and what you can do better to improve, as a 6x time runner up and 3x winner Capzacsparrow 7.5/10 - you havent played much, but you seem to be middle of the road. I know you got your comps locked tf down, youve been improving everyday, but what im worried about is your strategy. Sometimes you need to be cutthroat and make decisions that are hard, and tbh i worry about you making the best decisions for YOU and not for others ily LEXEY 6/10 - Lexey you have not played a single hysteria game, but after takinng a quick look from the games you have played, i feel like you are the type to reach out to just a 2 or 3people, you stay loyal, youre a good trustworthy ally, but i need you to push further. You're not the greatest in comps, so you rely on your social abilities. youre a likeable queen, you need to use that to your leverage, go reach out to people, dont wait for them to talk to you <3 surfersorbet 9/10 - i mean lets bffr you prob will out-elo me one day, you got the comps and social game on lock from knowing you. I dont know how cutthroat you are, but looking at that 1 jury vote from your 1 game, makes me believe that you need to amp it up more <3
