Ok so thanks for even just taking the time to come back here if you came back during the jury vote time! For me, premerge was a bit unproductive due to the various ways people left, but I did attempt to speak with everyone who left from my tribe, and certainly could’ve worked with any of them! Merge is where I let my social game shine though as I was clearly not able to survive just on challenge wins. I had Joey and Onyx trusting me to an extent, Evan trusting me, and an idol since Day 1 that was still a secret. I was then able to build relationships from the other tribe that kept me floating just above the primary target spot as I was covered on both sides. I did want to keep myself a small target though to not look suspicious. So despite getting a single vote a number of rounds due to being on the outs since merge, and seeing that I was saved by Evan’s idol at F5, I was never in a position to need that idol for myself. I was always able to avoid being the biggest threat and keep that idol in my pocket. I had a few moments where I thought of using it to save someone to scoop them up, but I felt confident in my current path forward. When F6 came around, and Evan’s name was in the line of fire, because I was still not being looked at enough, I was able to save Evan from potentially going home in a Codebreaker tiebreaker, and also get out the person who was helping my game not look completely pristine by keeping my name out there, but at that point I needed to shift to having my name stay off the chopping block. (No hard feelings though Nicky! 🫶) By F5 I felt I had a very good shot at sitting in one of these chairs, and that’s why I think I deserve to win! Thanks for reading this if you did.
