As some of you know, I was recently in Finland with my girlfriend, just for a quick weekend getaway! So I put together a photo album, because I wanted to share our joy. Aspiring Music Artists: here is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The Executives have made their decision. It wasn’t unanimous… but it didn’t need to be! By a vote of 2–1, @KaliMinaj has been eliminated from the competition. The exact votes will remain a mystery, leaving room for speculation, strategy, and maybe a liiiittle paranoia. Medusaluh, congratulations! Despite not making a submission in the first round, you’ve survived this elimination. ✨✨✨✨✨ As you'll remember, in each round, the Executives' power won't be limited to choosing who to eliminate. Here's what they also control: 🫧 They will know the next theme first, while everyone else will find out during Episode 4. Despite that delay, all other players will still have the same 24-hour window to submit, so while the Executives gain information, the playing field isn’t entirely uneven. 🫧They will partially define your song choices. For the next round, the cast has been randomly divided into three groups: Group 1: @Nick @ItsaModernLife @Marquis @Tide Group 2: @Gabbes @BIGBRYY99 @TrueBlood @Malibu Group 3: @Medusaluh @TheWorldofJJ @MissChloeKay This distribution ended up being particularly interesting, as all three Executives have been placed in a different group. This means that no one particular group is an "easy picking" and that Executives will need a strong social game to get their way. But what exactly are they deciding? The Executives will be assigning a music genre to each group! Their options are: 🫧 Pop/Rock 🫧 R&B/Rap 🫧 Other (including Electronic, Jazz, Country, Metal, and more) They must come to a unanimous decision. If they fail to agree, the final call will be left to chance, with one Executive’s preference being randomly selected. A Discord group chat has been created for them to discuss and negotiate. This is a social game, so how they choose to communicate and their willingness to compromise may matter just as much as the decision itself. For those of you waiting to see where you land, don’t stress too much. My music taste is very eclectic, and strong submissions can stand out in any genre.
