Royale Strategy Guide

itsamodernlife      ❤ 419   ▲520th of February 2026

Royale is probably gonna be a one and done for most, so I'm making this for those who want to play Royale at least once or multiple times but don't know where to start or how to make it far. Since it's heavily dominated by sweats, regardless of a raffle, I'll split it up into 2 parts; those who can't be 24/7 active and those who can. CASUALS: - FLEE FROM THE BLOODBATH. If you know your activity won't be strong in general, you will be STUCK in the eye for an hour and you can't move. There WILL be comp threats in there. You WILL get jumped (if it's not broken). And with hardly any weapons, you probably will die early. - Your Day 1 will mainly be you in a square, waiting for popups. This is the safest way to play it, as moving around drains stamina, and you might need stamina to run away when needed. Popups can be things like food (which you need to survive), mobility items (teleport/energy drink/rope to slow people), weapons (arrows, bombs, snipers, kunais, etc), and defense tools (Kovazabees, health packs). You will more likely than not be competing with at least 1 other, if not 2. Try to find a place with just 1 other and stay there, when you log on you can check to see if you have any popups waiting. - Do not go lower than 60 stamina, as it'll take a VERY long time to regen stamina. Moving costs 20 stamina. Try not to move more than 2 places at a time before hopping off. - Every time you open the app again, REFRESH. As long as you are on Kovaze, refresh your site as many times as possible on the Royale page. This is so you can see an updated list of who's with you and who might be attacking you. This will be very important in the later stage - Day 2 and beyond. - Your social game will be the most crucial power you have. OUTSIDE THE GAME, Identify the power preconnections (or find someone that knows). Message the active people a "hello!" on Discord if you have it, and have a small conversation with them so they're at least familiar with you. This is especially true if you don't know many people at all in your game. The more people you get to know, the less people that will attack you when you're offline. - The reason why I say the above is because when you don't attack, collect popups, or move for 15 minutes, you enter camo mode, which means you can't be fought. However, you can be attacked with ITEMS. Meaning, you can get sneak attacked if you're not careful. This is how a majority of the people in Royale will die; getting jumped by people with hella items. I unfortunately fell victim to this. As someone who will not be online, it is CRUCIAL that you form the right bonds to avoid the bloodshed when this happens. Know people who are eager to kill? Get to know them! Form a pact. Do whatever it takes to avoid getting shot. - Outside of that, honestly? Find food and eat it, as you will likely starve to death if not. Once you go to 0 food you lose 1 health per minute, so eat that food! I was dumb enough not to and lost like 30 health because I dozed off, which made it easier to kill me. - Since you know you can't be as active, find joy in the little things like meeting new people and forming pacts. This will help you escape an item attack and gives you a better chance of making it to the endgame, where you unfortunately will NEED to be online at all times, but at least you made it there! 24/7 SWEATS: - If you know you're not good at challenges or that you won't be on good terms with most of the people in the bloodbath, flee. You can just farm resources in a different square, and mind your own business. - Otherwise, go to the bloodbath and analyze as much as you can! Form pacts, figure out who your enemies are, and DEFINITELY jump a player or two if you know they're gonna come after you. It's gonna be a first come first serve basis but fighting is going to be the most crucial here since resources are limited so make sure you're fighting someone you know you can beat; or at least someone that a person you're working with can beat. - Popups in the eye always have a faster spawn rate, which is why it'll often be contested with other players who are also good. Some people will use autoclicker... you'll be able to tell. Avoid them. Danger zones are outlined in red. Honestly, you can avoid the eye Day 1/Night 1 and just camp in a regular spot; find a square where people are afk and just stay there. Only move danger zones even if they have 1 other person. 3's a crowd, though. - As the game goes on and more danger zones pop up, find a spot where there's less people (that don't use autoclicker) and camp it. Use Day 1/Night 1 to form your initial alliances and recognize loyalties. This will protect you on Day 2. - Social game is still just as important as ever. Recognize the threats and work with them rather than against them off the bat. Know your allies on Day 1. - HAVE A REFRESH EXTENSION. I completely despise autoclicker but this is actually necessary for you to know when you're being stalked or attacked while you're online. Or to know who's passing. People could pass one minute and leave the next to scout, for another person to bomb or snipe you. The refresh at least gives you an idea of your surroundings in almost real time. - DUAL SCREEN. This is especially crucial so you can be somewhat attentive while doing work if you're on PC. A MUST for endgame. Either do dual screen, or have split screen (Opera GX, Windows, ETC) - You can probably sleep fine Night 1 if your social game is good enough, no need to worry about being attacked. But if you want to get resources? Stay tf awake. Stock tf up. - If you see someone new join your room, stay cordial in the early game Say hi and remain peaceful! Fucking run if it's day 2 or 3 and they're not your bestie or someone you're actively working with. They will likely kill you. - Day 2 is the real mess. There will be groups of people hunting down players, active or not. If you decide to join those groups, help out and give some of the resources, but be a bit greedy; keep most to yourself. You need resources more than anyone else. If you're not hunting? Oh honey pray that your social game is elite. - Don't go for kills too early on or else you will be targeted mid-late game for hoarding resources and being a threat. Let someone else take that fall. - STAY THE FUCK AWAKE ON EVENING/NIGHT 2. This is when most of the killing will happen. Unless you KNOW you're social queen like Tisha, or that you're protected by your allies (that are dominating the game), you will most likely either be fighting or running on Night 2. This is why you stock up on resources Night 1. - From here on out, if you make it to Day 3, you really have to be eyes glued to the screen. At this point, people just want the game to end and they will be killing the idle people with their weapons. This is where autorefresher comes in handy. If not? Good luck. Alliances and pacts will prove crucial here, as it'll be the people on the outside that will get turned on. - You want to get most of your kills in the mid-late game. Be strategic about it; target people who you KNOW will drop hella resources, even if you know you can't kill the most. Find a ride or die (or go solo if the game is dead) and use the tried and true strategy of scouting/killing. This is why you save your resources part 2 - these mid-endgame kills will have people dropping everything they have if they're not on. You'll be stacked by the time the final fight comes, and be prepared for most things that come towards you. Which... will be a lot because everyone will know you have hella resources and you're going to get jumped at some point. - From there? Do what you gotta do to win. If you have to attack an idle person? Go ahead. Need to lie about resources? Boom. Wanna kill someone off with berries because they're starving? Be my guest. It's a dirty game. Just remember... you're probably not going to leave the site after this, meaning people are going to remember. Maybe... just maybe... they'll take your actions to heart. Overall, most people will play royale for the experience, and I find it alot more fun when you're fighting and duking it out rather than just playing the waiting game; the danger is fun! Royale is a well designed game to start, and while there are a few things that can be tweaked (popup adjusments to counter autoclick for example), most of the issues will arise from the cast rather than the gameplay. At the end of the day, make the most out of your experience! Royale for most will be a one and done, so why not do all you can to enjoy it? I hope this helps anyone who cares enough to want to do well in Royale <3

THE COMPBEAST GUIDE - Minigame Tutorial

itsamodernlife      ❤ 263   ▲194th of March 2026

Hellooooo Kovaze! As someone with nearly 1000 games on here, most of them being gamemodes that are solely competition based, I decided to make a little guide to each competition and what I did to get better at them! (Notice how I didn't say good honey... even I have my weaknesses.) FLAGS Preferred Device: Touchscreen Average Scores: 2000-2500 Good: 3000+ Shoutout my geography nerds! If that's not you, just practice the flags over and over again it's one that gets easier with time. It cycles around the same 42 flags! I knew very few when starting the site and now I know practically all of them. Start slow and rely on your memory! Once you know the flags, it's about increasing your speed while retaining accuracy. Best with a touchscreen. My bestie @melanie made a great guide on how to break 4k when you have a general gist of the flags here: https://kovaze.com/blog/85754 Lucky-drop Preferred Device: Any Good: 2000+ A comp beast's nightmare. This one is very straightforward, as a luck competition should be! Just try to save anywhere 1700+, but 2000 is a good base. Chain-pop Preferred Device: Large Touchscreen Average: 5000-7000 Good: 9000+ This one is straightforward in concept; drag your cursor/finger across balls of the same color and let go to pop them! Here's the trick to scoring high: if you see you have a lot of one color on your board, get rid of all the other colors by making chains out of them (for example, if I have a lot of blue, I will pop red, green, grey chains so I will get more blue chains to fill in after those other ones pop) Then when it's almost filling the entire board, do one BIG chain with that color and it will get a lot of points. Try to do this at least twice if you can within the 90 seconds. If you have an ipad or a touchscreen computer, do it on there! It's awful on phone. It's so small... If you have a device that can zoom in on the browser, I recommend that. Words Preferred Device: Phone Average: 30000-40000 Good: 50000+ WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE! You'll be given blanks like in hangman, and you use the keyboard provided to figure out the word! The easiest tip is to use two thumbs and use your PHONE like you are texting. Get rid of R S T L N and the vowels, and solve the word like it's wheel of fortune. Another one that gets easier with time, as the words recycle. Sorry if you are not a native English speaker :( Deal Preferred Device: Any Average: 100k+ Good: 130k+ The compbeast's other nightmare. Just like deal or no deal! If your first deal is at least 110k take it 9 times out of 10. If not, try to go until you get more than 130k. If you are playing something like arena and you're farther into the game, don't be afraid to risk a bit to get a deal of $150k+. Also, sometimes it's fun to YOLO and go all the way! Shapes Preferred Device: Any (best on Touchscreen) Average: 250-270 Good: 320+ This one is just about how quickly you can eyeball and count. For me I eyeball and try to cycle through a round every 2 seconds, but I often score like 350+. I can't really give advice because it's not something that can be improved on per se? Sometimes you have good days and sometimes you have bad days. Use your phone though, or a device with a low refresh speed; the shapes will move slower. Starfall Preferred Device: Any (potentially better on PC?) Average: 700-800 Good: 850+ This one is tricky but basically you want to shove the stars in the center and the easiest way to do that is to make a v-like motion with your finger (DO ON PHONE) to make a funnel of sorts so that the stars at the top are spread out but the stars closer to the bottom are funneled in the center (like a v shape)! Look at the image below (inside v, then outside v): https://i.gyazo.com/thumb/244/850949b9e63511490d5b77eda5fd3f82-png.png Another option is to tap on the sides instead of swipe, but I've never been much of a tapper. I got told this competition is charge to win, so keep your battery health high! Codebreaker Preferred Device: Phone Average: 65-70 Good: 75+ This one is just about how good your code is. You will be guessing a 5 digit code 0-9, none of them repeat. Use your phone so you can do it fast. Type 01234 then 56789 so you can figure out which 5 numbers you're using, then guess from there! Try to pay attention to your yellow spots so you don't accidentally put the same number there when guessing new codes! Holey Preferred Device: PC PC PC PC PC Average: 5k Good: 7k+ This one is honestly so hard to get better at, you're essentially maneuvering a ball through holes. It is the most difficult competition to adjust to, as it takes the most amount of practice and hard work. I want you to check out this blog by queen @matcha (who is retired a bit) here: https://kovaze.com/blog/28856 She basically holds the top two buttons down the entire time (using PC) and then uses the bottom two buttons to move the bar left or right. Honestly, the easier (and still effective) way to basically do the same thing is to hold w and o, and then when you reach a hole, have good enough reflexes to either let go of w (to lean the ball left) or o (to lean the ball right) to move past, then hold it again QUICKLY to keep the ball steady and keep the motion upwards; if you're too slow, it'll lean too far left/right and your ball will get dropped. It's all about reflexes. If you moved it too far in one direction, redirect by doing the same thing with the opposite direction. Please do this one on computer lol it is so hard on mobile and glitches if you have an iOS device. MatchThree Preferred Device: Any (best on PC/Mouse) Average: 5.5-6.5k Good: 7k+ My least favorite competition honey. But the easiest to understand! It's basically candy crush. Tap on 2 squares to swap them so you can match 3 (or more)! DOWNLOAD CANDY CRUSH LOWKEY??? It helped me! Some people say to start from the bottom looking for matches to allow for more autofills but I just do whatever. Use a touchscreen! The key is to always be looking for your next match so you don't get stuck as often. See a match? Great! While you're tapping at that match, scan your board for your next match to tap. You'll get quicker with time. Check out my good sis @katheryn 's blog on MatchThree here - https://kovaze.com/blog/52507 that's the queen! THIS JUST IN: I just got told by the match3 gods that it's actually preferrable on PC/Mouse if you want to score consistently high. YOU HEARD IT FROM THEM FOLKS! Guitar Preferred Device: Phone Average: 7-8k Good: 9.5k+ If you've ever played guitar hero, it's guitar hero. This competition is honestly hit or miss and needs a major revamp, but decide if the music helps or doesn't help first before starting. DO ON A TOUCHSCREEN UNLESS YOU'RE EXPERIENCED WITH USING 1 2 3 4 5 ON PC WITH RHYTHM GAMES! Do it landscape! I use my two index fingers for this one, but thumbs work! Honestly, you're either good at this one or not. Rhythm games aren't for everyone, and this isn't like your typical rhythm game because the music isn't synced with the notes. Two important things to note: KEEP YOUR STREAK! Every 5 notes in a row (until 25 notes in a row), you'll gain a multiplier that will add to your score. Miss a note, or misclick, and your multiplier resets. The multiplier is HUGE and if you constantly miss notes and reset your streak, it will be costly. Secondly, there are notes that are stacked on top of each other. I know, they're stupid. Time your click with those so that you can get them both at the same time, as sometimes you will try to get a stacked double note and you'll miss one because of the GUI. Stacker Preferred Device: PC Average: 1k Good: 2k+ This one is my favorite competition! You can do it on a large touchscreen, but I strongly recommend doing on a PC and using spacebar; clicking is okay too. Zoom in to 125% on PC so you can see where you're stacking (without zooming in too close and causing delay), and zoom in as much as you can on mobile. You want to try and stack it perfectly as early on as possible so that you can have a wider base for if you mess up later down the line. You can let the stack bounce back and forth if you'd like, but honestly you're more likely to mess up that way; just go for the stack on the first go. ALWAYS better to be too early than too late, if it moves wildly fast then it's about reaction time. And most of all... concentrate! I hope this guide helps those who are looking to play the competition based gamemodes like Arena or Race, but don't know how each competition works or what a good score is for each one! And for those who've been on the site for a while, I hope this gives more insight!

That's literally what the fans wanna see.
