Watching Dragon Ball for my first time ever last night and seems alright so far

Here in Pallet Town about to get my starter, but wondered if anyone has any good anime recommendations for me to watch throughout my journey? Just finished catching up on one piece not long ago, now looking for something new. Seen HxH, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, My Hero, Yugioh, Pokemon, Digimon, FMA: Brotherhood as well, thinking maybe watch Dragon Ball as never seen that series, but is it a truly good series?

So I came across here few days ago, made this account to kind of browse around a bit. Now some of you may remember me back from Tengaged, where I was Boots22, but decided didn't want to wear boots anymore and figured why not be a Pokemon Mayor instead. Anyways........ just wondered if there was any good advice I should take note of as to where I should get started
