2025 was mid. It got way better near the end. I have many things to look forward to in 2026. Going back to school for my nursing degree and finally being in a place where I am financially stable for once. I have some goals for 2026: -Become financially smarter and comfortable. -Start new hobbies. -Work on building better mental health. -Read more. Duh. I can't wait to see what the new year will bring. I have so much to look forward to. I met some really special people on here as well, and can't wait to see those relationships build. I read 64 books for the entire year with a goal of 55. I think I’m going to make my 2026 goal 60. I also want to open myself to more thrillers and mysteries, instead of just mostly reading romance. I know no one probably cares, but I’m bored and waiting for my bf to get home from work, so why not. Plus, if you like to read, here’s some recs. 10. King of Envy by Ana Huang. It’s not the best in the series imo, but still pretty good. 9. Wild Card by Elsie Silver. Ex-boyfriend’s dad who’s a firefighter. Yes, please. 8. Cash by Jessica Peterson. Forever in my cowboy romance era. 7. Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood. By far her best book in the Love series. 6. Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage. My emo, ranch hand king. 5. Play Along by Liz Tomforde. Female lead is a badass. 4. Mile High by Liz Tomforde. Plus size FMC and when she’s feeling insecure about her body, he tells her all the parts he loves about her body. 🥺 3. The Right Move by Liz Tomforde. He learns sign language so he can talk to her dad. 🥹 2. Wild Side by Elsie Silver. The most beautiful and heartbreaking story. It’s slept on by her fans. 1. Caught Up by Liz Tomforde. This book had me fucking sobbing. The female lead is a bad ass and the man is just 🤤. It makes you cry in the best way.
