DNTM Photo 10 Critiques

This top 6 makes it really hard to pick top and bottom photos. This week it's clear who the top photo is, but everyone after that it was so hard to pick. For my picks they really came down to the fine details in the photos since everyone had such similar backgrounds/styling. https://kovaze.com/blog/98599 AngieKStan: Your close up in this photo is stunning. The styling of the outfit is very on theme and gives high fashion editorial, but the rest of the photo is lacking. The fire rings are burning in your hands, and the ground is like a molten rock. It’s a good photo when you look at it quickly, but the closer you look it has too many minor flaws this late in the competition. ohEmgee: an interesting take on the theme. I think this was like 80% of the way there, but I think it would have been better as a full body shot with slightly better angles in the body. Your leg being pointed toward the camera makes it look pretty large, and since you are cropped at the knees you don’t get your full length. Desh: I appreciate that not everything in your image is on fire. The styling is fun, and I think the picture at a glance is striking. I think the pose could have been more fun, maybe see you juggling those fire sticks, but overall I like the photo. However, the longer you look, the more details are really off. Your left arm is cut in half and looks really strange, and your leg that is under the other leg is also very abnormal. At this stage in the competition those details matter. Gabs: The face is fierce and intense, and I like the pose. Like some of the other photos this is great at first glance but then a few things stand out the longer you look. Overall, a downside is your outfit and styling almost blends into the exact background so it all kind of mushes together without any contrast in it. It’s still a good photo but I would have liked to see something make you stand out a bit more relative to the background. Then the small details: is your arm burned off? Is it a sleeve? And then the fire is burning your hair. Face 12/10, body/styling/background 6/10, details 5/10. Fiji: well this is a stunning photo. The styling is amazing, the pose is great, and the fiery whip is fantastic. I would have liked to see your other hand not get hidden behind the fire, and the whip gets a bit too close to your body in the image I would have liked to see it appear a bit further in front, but not nearly enough to take away from how stunning the photo is. jordie: This is a cute action shot. You have managed to capture a great face shot while in motion and that is difficult to do. You are pointing your toes and giving length. It is a tough thing to be pointing your armpit toward the camera and still look beautiful. Make this a high end deodorant ad. As much as it is a good photograph, the pose is almost a bit too athletic for top model. It gives top athlete who did a photoshoot, but I’m still a fan of it because the fine details were all there. My Rankings for this photo Fiji Jordi Gabs Angie ohEmgee Desh (I can’t get over the arm)

It's getting down to it now, and there are only strong models left. So if I am harsh on your critique it is because you are all so close to the title you can’t afford any slip ups! I’m rooting for you, WE ARE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU! https://www.kovaze.com/blog/97605 Gabs: I like the styling of the slicked back hair and simple clean make up look. Nothing to distract from the jewelry yet you look like a model. The pose is good, but I think you may have slightly overdone it on the jewelry. More isn’t always more. AngieKStan: An interesting take on the prompt. I will give you points for that. If I thought Gabs over did it on the jewels this is majorly overdone, but like I think it almost passes so bad it becomes good again? As a photo it looks great, but if you consider the prompt its not giving major luxurious vibes. I also don’t like the hand placement being between your legs. With the gorgeous ring you have on it is drawing attention to that area… Fiji: I’m starting to see a theme in the photos, we all decided more jewelry equals better photo…. In this case though the jewelry is part of the outfit and exaggerated to make a statement. I could see this being an ad for the earing, the rest just being embellishment to grab attention, and in this case it works. ohEMgee: unique pose here and I’m not mad about it, but I think the overall photo isn’t working. You are in a jewelry shop that appears to have a lot of diamonds, you are wearing a lot of them, and it’s implying they aren’t rare or valuable. I also think it’s the lighting, its not giving luxury its too harsh. You as the model didn’t do much wrong, but the photograph isn’t working because of the other factors, and at this stage in the competition that may unfortunately be enough… Jordie: Ok finally someone who chose the less is more concept. Some will say it’s boring, but I think it’s far classier than loading up on 20 pieces of jewelry. This has a clear focus, and there is nothing else to distract from the jewel or your beauty. The pose could have been slightly elevated, the mouth being slightly less open I think would help, but I still think this styling looks the most luxury so far. Melanie: It’s clean, chic, and highlights the jewelry well. Maybe this could have benefited from a softer light, but the hand positioning is cute. I might have liked to see your finger pulling that strand of hair behind your ear and that way the focus really would be on that earring, but overall a good photo. Desh: As always you look stunning. Hard to make a pink bob look luxury in some photoshoots, but you have been doing a pretty good job of that. I like the use of the water, but that background is too unnatural for my liking. It could have been a waterfall and you were just standing in the pond below with these butterflies being attracted to your beauty. Because you have so many butterflies, this actually looks like an ad for that bra rather than the jewelry. I would have liked to see a bit cleaner execution of this same concept to really shine here. Wow ladies, we are getting down to the wire here. Not as many photos to review and so you have to do something special to stand out now. I think some of you took a week of this week and played it too safe. https://www.kovaze.com/blog/96372 Jordie: I think this photo is very safe. The pose is fine, the styling is standard, the face is a bit annoyed looking which I guess is OK to go with this theme, but the photo overall lacks anything that makes it fabulous. Ralts023: It was a pleasure working with you in this shoot 😉 You look stunning here, the styling is great, the light is catching your face wonderfully here, and it looks candid, yet you don’t lose your model. Desh: yet again you look stunning. I’m not a huge fan of the way the dress is moving but it kind of looks like one of the paparazzi is grabbing it out of frame so I can forgive that. I can’t tell if the hand by the face is meant to be a wave or like a “oh my, I didn’t notice the paparazzi there” but if it’s the second thing that doesn’t make sense for the photo since they are very close to you and you had all those stairs to walk down. Minor details because this photo is still fabulous! AngieKStan: There is a lot going on in this photo. You look great, but the jet sort of floating over nothing bothers me. I think you could have doubled down on the jet theme or taken that out and doubled down on the beautiful city on the right, but both makes it a bit much for me. I think you did well with the theme overall, but I think your pose could have had a bit more motion to it. The hair is great, but it looks like you are standing still to pose for the camera rather than walking that red carpet and letting them capture you. Melanie: This is another very safe photograph from you. After last week, I was hoping you would push yourself and give us something more. It’s giving Kim K, but the story isn’t making sense. Are you getting in or out of the car? Have you stopped to pose for the cameras? If so, this is a weak pose and would end up on the cover of a tabloid with the caption “Melanie looking muddled.” I just know you have more potential than this! Gabs: this photo is interesting to me as it does stand out from the others. It’s playful, and I like the over the shoulder pose. But the styling is off for me. This is giving teenage popstar after a concert rather than top model. It shows more personality than other photos of yours so I will give you points for that, but we have to remember we are top models, and this ending up in a tabloid doesn’t do you many favors in booking a high end luxury brand. I think with a little simplifying in the styling here this photo could have worked. ohEmgee: I will give you major points for taking the risk and trying something all the other girls were too scared to. I actually like the pose, but the bag being so close to the camera in this case does pull a bit too much focus. The face is still pretty, but is just past the level that could have made this work for me. I think it would have worked if this was zoomed out a bit more as there isn’t much room for the background to give context as to why you are angry. If I didn’t know the theme, I wouldn’t realize this is you upset the paparazzi are following you. I think if you zoom this out, take the face down a half a notch, this could have been one of the best photos this week. Fiji: this photo reminds me of the styling of your tennis photo. We have seen this look from you before so in some ways its good because its very on brand and recognizable, but in other ways I was hoping to see another side of you this week. I do enjoy the over the shoulder look, but overall the photo is just safe and follows the prompts well. My rankings Ralts (not just cuz im in it) Desh ^I think it’s clear these are best two photos, now it gets tricky. ohEMgee (because you took a risk, even if it wasn’t executed perfectly) Fiji Angie Jordie Gabs Melanie Good luck ladies, sad to see anyone go at this stage getting so close to the finale.

When I read this theme I knew this would be a week that may make or break some models (see what I did there). I think all the photos this week are good, but some do stand out above the rest. Let’s break it down! https://www.kovaze.com/blog/95188 ohEMgee: Before seeing your photo I said to myself, this girl is at risk this week if she doesn’t produce a good photo, and girl I think you nailed it. The pose works, and the facial expression is sort of void of any expression like a doll, but keeps enough model in it for this to work perfectly for the theme. I have two small things to point out: The arms both down on that side doesn't give broken doll as much as maybe bending one of the arms the other way or holding one up above or something, but this is a minor thing. The second thing is I just am confused what’s happening at your wrists. Are those gloves? Skin? Overall great job. Fiji: You for sure look like a doll. The styling and finish are all very strong. The pose and angles you created in this photo makes your legs look very large and your torso quite small, much like a doll’s unrealistic proportions. I enjoy that. I was wondering how model’s might incorporate doll houses and I enjoy this choice. You may have been able to push the pose a bit more into the broken angles, but this is still a wonderful submission. Melanie: Unfortunately for you this is not your strongest photograph. I like the creativity of having gone with a marionette doll. This provided so much potential with posing to make yourself look like you are being pulled in very unnatural broken poses like the theme asked for, but this pose just doesn’t push it far enough. Also, last week I gave you a pass on the weaker face because the theme suggested you could look scared but strong with the snake, but here your face looks sad, but not enough doll, and not enough model. The toughest thing about this photo for me is that the concept could have easily been top photo of the week if you had executed a stronger pose and given us even half of the strength you have shown us in your face in the early weeks. Desh: Strong submission. I like the pose, but I do think you could have pushed it a bit further. The styling is good, the gown is very doll like, and you are finding ways to make that pink bob look high fashion every week which is not easy. Your face does look a little void of emotion like a doll, but I think you did lose a bit too much of the model there. When you look at the wide shot the face holds up, but when you look at the close up and turn your head it’s not as strong. AngieKStan: I like that you took the route you did for the theme. I think its so cool that every model basically took a different doll theme and ran with it. Your styling is very on brand for you and you do look great in this photo. Unfortunately, the pose is weak because it doesn’t go with the styling. Maybe if the leg on the right was bent the other way, and one of your arms was holding the chain either much lower or much higher than the other hand you could have played with a bit more angles there to strengthen this. BiancaBae: Styling and theme 8/10. Pose: 3/10. You look great, but this pose is not photo 7 worthy, especially in a week where the pose was going to be the main way to differentiate you from the other models. You played it safe and didn’t push the theme far enough. It’s a lovely photograph but does not stand out among the group. You look like a Barbie, but not a broken Barbie. Jordie: I love the styling here, and you look fabulous. I go back to the first week and how commercial you looked in that photo and how editorial this photograph looks and have to appreciate how far you have come! I actually think this pose would have worked better as the marionette pose, because the arms are a bit strange for me here this way. I enjoy the angles they create, but it’s not screaming broken doll. Gabs: this may not have been the week to go for a close up given the pose was going to be pretty critical in giving off broken doll. With that said, you did manage to give us some drama. The hand on the bottom is almost clawing at your leg, and that’s what I would have liked to see more of in this photo. That kind of energy pushed a bit further. If you had gone there with this close up cropping, that would have made this photo feel like it was jumping out at me, and would have elevated it above the others. Ralts023: Broken doll or murdered s*x worker? I appreciate where you tried to take this photo, but I’m not sure you hit the completed photograph you were aiming for here. You somehow still look gorgeous, but you look lifeless. Part of me says, well dolls should look lifeless….. but this goes a bit too far. I think what it is, is that your body looks like it lost all of its tension. The pose would work if you had kept more tension in the arms and legs so they didn’t look too relaxed. They should have looked almost stiff to make this say doll. The head is also tipped back a bit too far for me. If you had turned the chin down toward the camera a bit more that could have gone a long way to bring more life to the photo. My Rankings Fiji ohEMgee Desh Jordie Angie Gabs Ralts Bianca Melanie

As much as I hate snakes, this was a fun photoshoot and I enjoyed looking at every photo. The competition is heating up and there aren't any weak models left so everyone needs to step it up and deliver great photos! Biancabae: I enjoy the styling, lighting, and even the pose. I think I wish this was zoomed in or out more. It’s not close enough for a beauty shot, and not wide enough to show your whole body. I like the open mouth but the biting the tongue doesn’t scream high fashion here. If you had simply kept your tongue in your mouth and then left the mouth open the way it is I think the photograph would have been much better. Some may say you cheated with the all black outfit, but I say you used your environment to style yourself on set, and I think that is totally fair! NicoRobin: I actually really love this interpretation of the theme. Although I myself am not religious, I can appreciate a biblical reference. This looks like if Katy Perry played Eve in a movie and this is the intense moment where everything is about to change. I like that you took the photo from this angle and somehow you still look long, didn’t lose your neck, and are modeling H to T (just one foot cropped out again…..) My only other feedback is that you aren’t engaged with the snake as much, but again it is a unique interpretation of the theme to have him wrapped around your hood to the outfit. Desh: the intensity of this photograph stands out to me. Other than your striking face, one of my favorite things are your arms in this photograph. You create some good angles with them, and you look to be hanging from branch, but then you realize it’s a flimsy little prawn and that’s not possible yet you make it look possible in this photo because you kept tension in the right places. You may even be holding it above your head, but you still look like you are hanging from it, and I love that. I do wish you had zoomed in more on the beautiful face shot, or zoomed us out and given us the full length of the body. Oh, there’s a snake in this photo too…. Melanie: This was an opportunity for a beauty shot, and I thought you would thrive in that being one of the prettiest girls in the house, but I’m actually so glad you didn’t go that route! This pose is creative and I love how you are looking directly at the snake. I don’t think it’s your strongest face you have given us, but this is one of my favorite pictures of the week. Ralts023: This is one sexy photograph. It flirts with the boarder of being too sexy for a high fashion look, but I love the neck, you face looks great, and the coloring in the photograph is well done. You do have a weird thumb thing happening, and the mouth could have been opened slight less to imply a little less sex, but overall strong photo! ohEMgee: You really took the one snake only and maximized that. The outfit is creative and fun, and with that hair you really had to be careful with other colors clashing, so leaning fully into the black theme was smart. Other than that, the amount of snake is a bit too much for me. The photo is cool, but not beautiful. Fiji: I love how you played within the theme, but used lighting to impact the colors to make this photo stand out from the others. The pose and snake balance is one of the best in the group, and your face looks fabulous. The way the legs are crossed her slightly bother me for reasons I cannot articulate. Gabs: I love your face here and upper body pose. I like that you chose to make the snake go vertically in this image as it stands out from some of the other photos, but the way it is between your crossed legs looks a bit strange/unnatural. It is still a strong photo, but if the snake was draped along your body just a bit cleaner this would have been a top photo contender for sure. Jordie: similar to some of the other girls I think I would have liked this to be cropped closer, or given us full length. You look fabulous, the pose is good, and I love the snake accessories. Even with a thick snake across your upper body you managed to not lose your neck, well done. AngieKStan: This has your brand coming back through again and I do enjoy that. The sunglasses with the way the light is hitting your face doesn’t do it for me, but the way you are holding the snake is wonderful. I with the other arm was slightly more dynamic. The way it is on your hip is giving housewife a bit too much, but overall strong photo submission this week! My ranks Fiji Desh Melanie Nico Ralts AngieKStan Jordie Gabs ohEMgee Bianca

When I saw the tennis theme, as a major tennis player/fan myself, I was super excited to see what you ladies were going to come up with, and you have all put your own spin on things and I really enjoyed digging into your photos this week. I'm pretty confident in my top couple photo picks, and unfortunately my bottom choice, but the rest in the middle were really hard to order. https://www.kovaze.com/blog/93637 Go support the photo blog, and if last week was any indication, my critiques don't actually impact the game I just do it for fun :) ohEMgee: I really enjoy this photograph. The motion is great and the overall aesthetic is very cute. I think you missed the luxury/high fashion element a little bit with the outfit choice combined with the cutsie jump, but I really enjoy this photograph for what it is. A big element of this photoshoot was your ability to find your light in a night time photoshoot, and I think you did this well! Jordie: What’s the score? Love all? You have the high end luxury feel to this photo, and I love the pop culture reference here. The pose itself doesn’t immediately say athletic energy, but when you look closer at the photo it has a few details that really do make it seem more athletic, but also top model. Although you aren’t in heels, your top leg has your foot pointed, and your bottom foot is only touching its toes to the ground as if you are wearing a heel, and it helps this photo a lot. You are sitting on the chair, but not resting on the chair. A lot of girls have done seated poses this season and faced directly to camera making them look very short, but this photo keeps your length because you turned slightly to the side. Your face for sure is giving the confidence and elegance we are looking for, and I know you are about to get up and kick both of those boys’ butts on the court. Gabs: Who’s turn is it to serve? GABS. FINALLY a pose that is giving you life in this competition. Where has this been the last few photoshoots?!?! It is athletic yet clearly says I’m a model, and the choice of heels on the tennis court is actually working here really well. At first, I thought the ball on the ground was a missed detail, but I actually love how it looks like you are balancing the top of your foot on the ball as if you are about to roll it with your foot. Small details to watch: with the heavier eye make up this week and the dark lighting, I miss the whites of your eyes here. Also, the net in the back clearly doesn’t line up so just watch that (I know how hard that was to fix with the AI) Also, I think the photo is strong without the words on it but that’s just personal preference. @MissChloeKay: The all white look was a good choice. The pose is not SUPER strong, but I do love the movement in it and that both of your feet are slightly lifted off the ground. I think the face could have been giving us a bit more today, especially after last week where I thought you had the best close up in the group! The neon lighting was also a choice I don’t think gives high fashion luxury here. You look great, and it this photo was given in week 1 or 2 I would for sure feel like you would be safe, but this week I do think this puts you at risk as it just doesn’t pop for me. Melanie: I think this is a cute photo, and I could see it being an ad. The pose is sort of playful, and I like the overall look. You are rocking that new bob. The downside is the pose isn’t exactly giving athletic energy, but it works in this composition. I would watch the night time lighting not hitting your face here. Only the side of your face furthest from the camera is catching the light, and you would want it to be the other way around in a profile. Ralts023: Game, set, matchy matchy! I love the US open reference, and the look is actually something I could see an athletic version of on my screen at the upcoming French Open. The low cut back makes it more of an eveningwear luxury look which says model, and when combined with the tennis shoe and pose it says athlete, which is exactly the prompt here. I love you are on your tippy toe, and the angles you created with your arms and other leg add a lot of much needed dimension to the photo. The trophy sitting on the ground is a little out of place, it maybe could have been on a table or somehow being held here or maybe taken out completely, but it doesn’t do enough to take away from how great you look here. Biancabae: Your choice of clay court is a nice touch, especially given you look like you are in Greece or Croatia somewhere. The pose is definitely athletic, but almost too on the nose for this (Its actually not bad form for the start of a slice backhand….) and you lose a little bit of the model in you. The hair movement is fun, and the eyes are great here. I’m not a fan of the cropped-out foot. AngieKStan: This was a risk and you know it, and it was a close call. Let’s check the hawkeye….. hawkeye says it’s IN!!! (if you know you know). I actually love that you played with dimension in the photograph and although the racket pulls a lot of focus, I still look at your face first. The pose is overall strong, and the uniqueness of the photo really grabs attention among the group. A couple of small details I would have liked to see to make this a top photo: your hand in the air I might have wanted to see grabbing the fence. One or both of your feet pointed to give a little bit more model here, and the outfit is juuuuuust bordering on cheerleader not tennis, but it works. If you had taken the logo off the top it wouldn’t seem as cheerleader as it does. Desh: To me, this is a return to form for you. The pose is cute, yet elegant. The balance on just the tippie tippie toe works for me and you’ve created great movement in the skirt. I have been waiting for someone to wear a jacket, so thank you for adding that detail. When you think of tennis you don’t think of jackets, but many of the professional players do accessorize jackets as they come to court, and they are usually oversized and cropped just like this one. Your face could have been a bit stronger, I can tell you are thinking a bit too much, but overall you really made this photo come together and found a way to embrace your makeover! I’m struggling with the court dimensions being way wrong, but I don’t notice it right away because you for sure are the main focus. NicoRobin: I love the pose as it is very athletic, but like Bianca it is very on the nose and a little bit less model. I will say the elevated back foot and arm not holding the racket do give a bit more model, but you could have taken this a step further to elevate the photo even more. Sometimes to make a photo really high fashion you have to exaggerate everything. You caught the light on your face well, but the cropping of this photo is a bit off for me. Fiji: I personally love this photograph of you. It’s dynamic, and very athletic yet you didn’t lose the model. To capture the light and still make this strong face when you are flipping your hair and are nearly upside down is pretty great! You did make a few small detail mistakes in this photograph: your heels look like two different boots, and your right booty cheek is showing, or your choice of half white half nude tights was bad… Other than that great job! I think the photo is strong enough to make up for the small details in editing. My rankings Ralts Gabs Desh Jordie Angie Fiji Melanie ohEMgee Nico Bianca Chloe

https://www.kovaze.com/blog/92479 Go support the photo blog, and remember I'm not a real judge, just a fan of all of you! LADIES! I know I was a bit hard on you all last week, but now it is you all who are making it hard on me! I think you all did such a great job this week it makes picking my top photo and top individual model really tough. The difference between best and worst photo is so small! @MissChloeKay and NicoRobin Together this photo is really strong. The prompt that was given to you is followed really well and the movement makes this seem like a still from a movie. The prompt told you to make intense eye contact, which I took to mean with the camera, but I actually like that you chose to make the eye contact with each other because it gave the opportunity to show your profiles and created the tension between the two models that makes the photo great. Chloe: I LOVE your face here. It’s the first thing my eye goes to in this photograph. You look like you are taking a sharp inhale, which implies shock and urgency, but yet you still look like a model. Two things you may want to be careful of in the future: when doing a pose that has you crouching, you are going to look very short, so I love the way you are extending out that front leg, but your back leg is getting cut off and looks disconnected. Also, you lost a little bit of your neck with your hair, but your face is so strong here I almost didn’t notice. If not for the back leg, I think you top the list this week. Nico: Your face is also so strong here. You are giving me the neck I wish I saw in Chloe. Unfortunately, you also lost some limbs in this photo, your arm is hiding, and the cropping loses one foot. Minor things there but we are getting deeper into this competition so all it may take to get eliminated might be something minor. Melanie and Biancabae This photograph is high fashion, elegant, creative, and you both look stunning. The angles created here are so appealing and the choices of styling and make up make you two look nearly like twins here. I also enjoy the small details which I see in Bianca’s grip on Mel’s shoulder, showing a bit of tension and urgency. You play off each other so well. The only small issue I see here is Bianca’s right foot placement is right between Mel’s legs…. And I don’t know where else it could have gone in that pose but possibly extended out a little bit more to be placed between Mel’s foot and hand? Melanie: Pose is amazing, best you’ve given us all season! It isn’t the obvious pose you think of with spy. Face is gorge as always. Bianca: I love how you are sitting on the edge of the table, but you aren’t sitting on the edge of the table… You have kept tension in your pose in all the right places to stay elongated and strong. Even with a turtleneck I can see you are extending that neck and it’s great. I love your choice of styling with your hair slicked back. It’s clean, elegant, and gives high fashion spy. Well done. Ralts023 and Desh This photo has a lot of good qualities to it. The movement is great. It feels like you are both walking, no strutting, out of the page and into my office! The choice of hand holding is interesting and adds an element of mystery here. The styling coordination is great. With that said, the photo doesn’t exactly pop. It lacks a certain energy and I think it comes from the posing. Both are essentially giving the same poses which doesn’t give the photo enough drama to stand out this shoot. Ralts023: I’ll be honest when I saw you paired with Desh I was worried about you. But you actually steal this photograph. You are making direct eye contact with the camera and I feel like you are about to kill me, but somehow I’m happy about it. I would have liked to be able to see both of your feet here, but you look fabulous. Desh: I hate to say this, but it is your weakest photograph so far this season. Body is stunning, love the flow in the hair and styling choices, but the close up of your face lacks the energy it needs to make this photograph stand out. Since the posing isn’t as dynamic, the faces have to be giving, and for me it’s lacking in the eyes. You seem to be looking off to the left and if you had just given us the direct eye contact it elevates the photo dramatically. I do also think that Ralts stands out more because she found the light better. AngieKStan and Fiji I was very excited to see how you two would work together. I love this photo because I can see how both of you put your input into it and found a way to stay on the theme but incorporate both of your brands. The photo is different than most of the others, and in this case it works. You are both making strong eye contact and look amazing. I don’t believe you are playing off each other enough in the photo, but I can see the story being told here. What I do like about the poses is they weren’t the obvious choices, and somehow it works. Angie: I love that this is a completely different version of you we haven’t seen in this competition. You finally broke out of your mold and gave us something different, and I love it. I would be a bit mindful of the pose as you lose your legs and neck, and your arm looks a bit shorter, but your face is so stunning I don’t notice those other things right away. Fiji: Face is fire, body looks great. Pose makes you lose length and your neck, and you’ve got a weird leg thing happening, but overall this photo still works somehow. Gabs and ohEMgee I love how you took the theme and really had fun with it. It was creative, playful, and helps the overall composition of the photo. In fact, the theme actually is slightly overpowering the modeling. Both of you look fabulous, but I would have liked to see a little more dynamic posing. It’s all very linear, but it is still a strong photograph saved by the styling and composition. Gabs: Face looks great, body is on fire, and your eyes are giving the mystery we were looking for. The only issue is this pose is something we have seen from you week to week, and I have been looking for something a bit elevated from you. Give me something with more angles, more high fashion, something that jumps off the page. Omg: It was smart of you to have turned your body to the side and you gave us a bit more shape. It honestly really saves the photo from being a bit boring. Despite how great Gabs looks, my eyes are drawn to you first in this photo. The gun should have been pointed a bit more to the right so you could see your arm. Small detail, but as I said earlier these are the things that may make or break the competition as we progress. Jordie and Trueblood I like the overall composition of this photograph, and that you gave us such great dimension in the poses. I can’t decide if I love that you are both facing the same way or if I hate it. I would love to see what it looks like if True would have given us this pose in reverse to know for sure. Either way you both look fabulous and I enjoy your interpretation of the theme. Jordie: love this pose, and love that you are basically giving us an upside down face and yet it is still gorgeous. I do think you lost a LITTLE bit in the eyes that could have made this a bit stronger for you. Your one foot is also disappearing into the dirt, so be careful about that. True: Your face is the strongest in this photo and possibly in the entire group. The pose is fabulous. If I could have somehow seen your legs on the ground here I think that could have helped a bit. Maybe if you had inverted the pose and placed your feet in the space under Jordie’s back that may have worked. Overall, well done.
