(Bit of a read sorry!! and this isn't attacking anyone!!) No one asked for my two cents but I feel inclined to give it anyway and I wanna do it in a more respectful way cause I don't want to attack the events team or anything who work hard to provide fun to this website Seeing the whole argument of "celebrities is meant for actual celebrities on this site" over this whole special edition with the drafting and all that kinda in itself is a direct contradiction of what this site has known celebrities to be thus far, which are unique editions of a format where public is voting on a cast that is **decided upon randomly** every like 1-2 weeks. The game cant both be for popular users only and also have a randomly plucked cast from all of those who wanna play A big recurring theme on all of this as I mentioned is "celebs meant for celebs on this site", but the difference is there are people on this site who came into the site with already established friend groups and popularity from tengaged, therefore obviously have risen to the top on this site status wise and have been granted special privileges like admin of events teams, blog teams, design teams, etc. Those privileges all have been granted to known and respected people from tengaged given their status, which is totally fair! Seniority should be rewarded on a new site, but it also doesn't exactly grant opportunity to lesser known people either. I just don't like this whole argument that the game celebrities is meant only for actual celebrities or currently popular members of the site, because that "current" isn't ever going to change with already established connections. Newer or lesser known people can't just easily break through that mold and suddenly gain status and recognition. Tldr, in a game that has already proven to be randomly hand picked casts since the site was made, to suddenly change trajectory entirely and make it about only those on the site who have an easier time at gaining recognition and popularity due to their friend groups and connections from tengaged, I don't think it's necessarily fair personally for the entirety of the site. I think unique editions like this one absolutely should happen every once in a while, because it is kinda fun to see the true stars of the site battle it out, but so long as that isn't a constant theme and everyone can have equal opportunity, that's probably for the best. But what do I know lol, I was never popular on tengaged 👁️👄👁️
