For every leg, I randomized a number 1-240, with the number corresponding to a time (for example: 174 being 2h54m or 2:54 AM). In the next leg, players depart with that time split it half, so in that example they'd depart 1:27 AM or at 87m. Every leg is still 1-240, and that process just got ran again over and over again until 3 remained. Non-Elims and season routes were planned ahead of time and Non-Elimination had a 10% Penalty added to next leg (if they took 200m, they'd take 220m instead) Below are some important links such as the group where every season is archived, the directory that has easy blog access to every season, and a spreadsheet has a lot of details for chart lovers! Originally when I first started my simulation series, signups were very low, so only did 12-14 player seasons, and have so far. However, some good news is that is has picked up lately and appreciate everyone for that! As I already plan out the season format ahead of time, ended up cutting 4 people (went by how far away their last season played was to give players who had played less-recent a chance). I feel this is a hot take, so always scared to pick it out of fear of being flamed, however, I think Standard Arena and Safety Chain are much more fun games than Golden Star, and esp Weakest Link. I think this is partly due to me being not as amazing as comps as most people, however, I find the strategizing for votes and things like that a lot of fun! I wish they got chosen more often 🙂
