It was 2 tests, my only criticism is why is 773 in flakes not even qualifying? Why in the world is there 20 sweats online at 4 AM?
AnxieTy you have to consider it isn't 4AM for Sin and not everyone shares the same timezone as you. Also the starting challenge is not going to be flakes, so it is just the luck of the draw. Plus I think there will be more than two tests. Chances are there will be some tweaks, more tests, rinse and repeat till it is fully released. Rome wasn't built in a day and clearly the goal is to get more activity in a game mode that needed some life.
NicoRobin as someone that stays up overnight I can attest that there's never that many sweats joining games at that time. It's obvious they all just stayed up all day and night just waiting to play race. It really didn't need any life, it just needed a slow version that's like castings. Also confused what your point is about it not being flakes every time. Yeah? But 20 people doing better than 773 is literally insane.
AnxieTy I think from the context of things it seems that you are upset that you got out during the qualifier round and putting your frustrating on that. And yes the game needed some life because nobody was joining it when people were begging others to join it on the blog page most of the time EVEN when there was a double pay out a while back. A slow version would not be fun. You do a challenge and just wait? It is a Race not a light jog to look at the flowers and find a hot dog vendor. I'm looking forward to the new additions to Race and see how it will make the game interesting which hopefully will be soon as it gets fine tuned just like every other game on this site.
NicoRobin idk why you're being so nasty over it, I'm sorry that you lack the creative vision to see how awesome a slow race would be. No it wouldnt just be do a challenge and wait. There would be pop ups, gaining checks from talking, a roadblock competition where the lowest score gets a penalty, transportation would be more expensive. As far as my criticism, I can only speak to what I've experienced.
AnxieTy You can't say I lack creative vision when you don't even provide an example on your idea. I'm not going to think of something that I don't think of. Mainly what you provided is a Castings with Amazing Race Painted terms pasted on it. And again with your criticism from what you experienced. Great that is wonderful, but you keep mentioning about it and it is getting rather annoying and it is tuning out actual feedback from people who got further in the game which is the feedback that is more important. I know it sucks, but that is just how the game works. We get it, you didn't qualify. Sorry that the algo chose Starflakes? What does that do to help fix the game for when it is fully released? I don't think I am being nasty, I'm just being blunt. At the end of the day I am tired of people being whiny about things when they should be glad that we get actual updates and someone asking for feedback when before we had a place where the last update was like a font change and that was it. Sorry that I care and want the behavior of the people to be a bit more respectful.
NicoRobin Actually, I can say whatever the hell I want, and I am sick of people being whiny in response to criticism and feedback. I couldn't give a flying fuck if my criticisms and thoughts drown everyone else's out. Race was perfectly fine as it was and it was redesigned and repackaged to even give a bigger disadvantage to nukes and flops and that's my Criticism. Yes updates are usually better than no updates but you can also ruin something that already great by trying to add more to it.
