Is it reasonable to judge people for not knowing every country (or like, 90% of them)

But why do we need to know that? Lol

Glaceon5 hours ago

Rain you like really don’t I just think it speaks a lot about a person that doesn’t know one of the most accessible and widely known knowledge

After 16 for sure.. knowing all the countries is not "useless trivia" (what the actual fuck of a hot take), it's important in this ever globalized world and I get so embarrassed having to explain basic geography to folks that should know better. Not expecting them to know obscure regions or smaller countries, or all of the capitals, but a good general sense of the world should be common knowledge for those privileged enough to have access to the education. They should at least be able to locate places on a map and have a sense of history as well.

Malarkey yeah basically everything you just said I agree with, at the very very LEAST like knowing the general geographical region of a country

Depends on where ur from I would give Americans slack since they don’t teach geography outside of the US much

When you reach the age where you think you're better than people for not knowing useless trivia

Glaceon5 hours ago

Lunk do you genuinely categorize the nations of the world as trivia lmao

Glaceon Any fact is trivia and just knowing the name of a country doesn't really benefit anyone other than the person's ego.
