I mean anything. From Survivor to Vanderpump Rules, What is your biggest hot take?
Mine: Big Brother needs to get rid of either the POV or Blockbuster. They cant both exist, I can't imagine having to potentially nominate 4 people just for only 1 of them go.

bravo - SLC sucks right now and needs a shakeup desperately, watching the same scripted antics with zero change in cast dynamics is BORING and heather gay is my least favorite housewife currently employed bc of it - new RHONY is good & they fired/kept the right people, people will just hate bc they arent OGs (OGs that deserved to be on pause btw) - emmy obv in the wrong x1000 on soho but like she should not be fired lol - the marlo/sheree/etc group was NOT the problem on rhoa 15 it was kenya/kandi & the show doesn't need really any of its big stars except for nene/porsha/maybe kenya with a better attitude. angela/drew/porsha/MAYBE pinky even tho idc for her should be the only ones to return from this cast along with cynthia as a FOH competitive reality tv - we are kinda in the best era of BB since the single digits or at least the 17/18 era but that was good casting still bad structure - 45-47 was the last run of 3 consecutive good survivor seasons since 16-18 but jeff probst is ruining that show (icy take but ive said this for like a decade) - onya was a weak af drag race winner and even though i get it track record wise she had my least favorite runway package of any f5

Low temperature- Modern Drag Race is unwatchable, I haven’t finished a season since 2021. Medium temperature- House of villains is more entertaining the traitors, which after S2 has struggled to cast well. (Or maybe they just don’t cater to me). High temperature- Good Big Brother (Live) > Good The Challenge > Good Survivor > Good Big Brother (Rewatch) > Bad Survivor > Bad The Challenge > Bad Big Brother
I love blockbuster it makes eviction night so fucking intense. And especially when most of the time you’re spoiled cuz of feeds, that one night could go any which way and has your heart thumping and is so unpredictable. Much better than just an eviction vote because everyone has to scramble and readjust to new circumstances. My take is that Rupauls drag race main is some of the worst reality tv we’ve ever seen and comes across fabricated af and oversaturated. It’s a mess. The only reason it should still be on is as a political fuck you. But as far as entertainment…it is not doing a sufficient job

Mochalatte i agree and disagree with both your opinions! i think the blockbuster is good in concept but i think it breaks the game way too much. i also think drag race now is way too oversaturated, and it can never turn back. i prefer international series way more nowadays
Kallie I love the international ones. The recent UK vs the World was great and Slaysain Royale. UK 2 and 6 are my personal favs and I always recommend them to people who want to start the series.
Mochalatte I agree to an extent. I liked how the earlier seasons felt educational on drag culture and still entertaining. Now it is just flashy, catch phrase, and etc. I still enjoy it but honestly I am at point where I just binge watch the season, but I am glad we still have it as representation and opportunity to give these talented queens (except for Serena) a platform.

RobbieRIOT well my Hot Take: Track Record doesn't matter if you get a shot to save yourself. If you didn't then I would understand. They should bring back immunity to make the wins worth it. You do what you gotta do to get the final and then it is winner takes it all. Either lipsync or a final show stopper performance (which honestly I prefer the later).

Solitary was one of the best gameshow formats, and the use of AI to replace Val in a series revival would easily create the biggest exposé in living under AI.

I agree about the blockbuster, I like the concept but only as a like first 2-3 weeks thing to keep it fresh but after that way too much of the house is nommed each week. My take is any show that has a celebrity or already established on tv cast needs to vet their cast better for the show they’re doing. It’s so frustrating watching the traitors, house of villians, even the goat, be played out by people who don’t understand how social strategy games work and so go off of morals and other dumb logic to play a game for money. Many people hated her for it but the way Danielle Reyes played traitors was classic rtv gamer and it was so entertaining
