Survivor 50 Finale

I remember in high school I fell asleep during the kaoh rong finale and wasn't able to watch it live. I went to school the next day unspoiled but accidentally saw someone on snapchat post a picture of tai/michele on their story sitting in the final two chairs. I thought for sure Aubry had gotten taken out for 3rd place. I was crushed. I got home later that night to watch the episode and almost jumped out of my seat when Jeff announced it was a final 3. I thought maybe the person on snapchat had cropped Michele because he was a fan of hers and that Aubry had the win in the bag. To my surprise, Aubry lost that night in a JURY VOTE. I didn't think in a million years that was possible after what she had gone through. I totally underestimated Michele and that night haunts me because besides Kass, I had never gone to bat so hard for someone as I did Aubry. The difference between me and other Aubry fans is I can acknowledge that Michele is a fucking legend and makes an amazing Survivor winner. She also went on to fuck shit up on multiple challenge seasons and was hands down my favorite on her returnee season as well. To see all the weirdos on here and on twitter and everywhere who can't find it in their heart to root for both, grow up!!!! Anyways, now nearly 10 years later (also coincidentally the 10 year anniversary of dangerous woman btw go stream knew better part 2), to see Aubry get the title she equally deserves to Michele is incredible. For years I had to listen to Michele fans rub in my face that Aubry is weird, cringey, a flop, and a loser. Her appearances on game changers and EOE didn't help at all. I mean.....purple Kelly edit and then delusional analogy-bot were not the best looks for her track record. But tonight FINALLY the books feel so balanced. She provided us with a cute rivalry, a little bit of neuroticism, and tons of subtle maneuvers that showed us that strategic bone never left. There will still be people who discredit her and can't see the joy in Aubry Bracco, but at least now what they CAN'T say is that she's not a Survivor winner. GOOOOOOOO AUBRY YOU FUCKING DID IT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
