It's so weird to me

How much tengaged lore occurred during the years I was either completely gone, or just a casual user who popped in for castings, an occasional hunger, and joining charities. When I got super active in 2020 I met all these people with zero knowledge of their backstories. Some of them I befriended because they seemed cool at the time and I had no idea of their unsavory pasts. I was friends with Maturo for a bit, I found out the weird stuff after, but he was always friendly to me and we would exchange dog pics (NOT THE DOG FROM THE OTHER STORY, HE HAD A GIRL ONE TOO). I was so horrified when I heard all of that stuff. I also remember befriending EyooMarcus right before he got exposed as a massive pedophile, I was so shook by that. I'm sure there's more. It just always blows my mind how people will seem normal when you meet them if you have no idea of their past or sometimes also current inappropriate behavior.
