🌲ROUND 28 - 06:48h🌲 Game Event: Black Rain Make it make sense! __________________________________________ As Elara Voss approaches the open Exit Gate, the ink on her Pages disappears. The black rain remains trapped beyond the forest, unable to reach the Static Field. Ahead of her, dozens of tiny fireflies emerge from the tall grass. One by one, they gather around the path leading to the gate, their warm golden light cutting through the static-filled air. Elara Voss smiles. Elara Voss: Guess I'm not walking out alone after all. The fireflies drift forward, guiding her the final few steps. As Elara passes through the Exit Gate, the static in her head disappears completely. For the first time since entering the forest, everything is quiet. The fireflies continue into the morning fog, and Elara follows them. Elara Voss has escaped The Forest. ✨ __________________________________________ Paul searches around the E-carved stone and finds a Page "STATIC KILLS". Paul: Little me would be proud of me. Paul drinks vodka. She realizes that there is not much left inside. Paul: I should keep the rest for myself. No more donations! Marquis enters the Stone Ruins. Marquis: Hello there. Paul: Marquis!! I do not like you. Marquis: Why exactly? Maybe you should stop drinking. Paul: That bottle of vodka has saved my life many times around this forest, unlike you who wanted my demise. Marquis: Hey, who told you that? Paul: Didn't you realize it? The Forest is constantly trying to communicate with us. Our thoughts are kind of connected around here.. that constant static transmits information. Marquis: What the hell are you talking about? Her head still filled with static. Bim: That vodka shot is making me insane.. as if I am hearing things. Bim hears someone's voice inside her head. Ember: Then I have a surprise for you. Bim: No.. get out of my head. It was not my fault that you died. Ember: You.. pushed.. me. Bim: No , I panicked! I didn't want you to die, Im sorry! The static inside Bim's head rises and she starts screaming. Bim: STOP IT! The static suddenly cuts out. For a brief moment, everything feels normal again. Then Bim notices she is no longer alone. A tall figure stands beside Dimitra 's abandoned production bus. Bim: No... The black rain continues falling around them. The faceless figure slowly tilts its head and several dark tentacles emerge from behind it. Bim turns around and runs. Her shoes slide through the mud as she sprints across the parking lot, but the static erupts inside her head again. Her vision blurs and she crashes into the side of the bus and falls hard onto the pavement. She desperately tries to stand, but Slenderman is already above her. He wraps her neck with one of his black tentacles, lifts her against the bus and starts choking her. After a painful 3 minutes, Bim falls on the ground breathless. Slenderman takes her body and disappears with it into the woods. _________________________________________ Yan and Containment search behind the dark tree with Snake-shaped rune and both get a Page. Yan: "FEAR KEEPS YOU ALIVE." That's a cheerful message. Containment: I mean... it's not wrong. Containment slips the page into his ranger jacket. Yan: Hey, did you get that from the Ranger Cabin. Containment: I did. Yan: So... you are a thief. Containment: Boy, I don't know which ranger lived there, but I'm sure they won't mind me taking their jacket. Especially when it keeps my pages safe and sound. The forest simply... ends. Ahead of her stretches a massive field of transmission towers, their steel frames disappearing into the distance beneath the dark morning sky. Thick power lines crisscross overhead while strange bursts of static flicker across the ground like tiny lightning strikes. Lemanjá looks back over her shoulder. Behind her, black rain pours relentlessly over the forest. Ahead of her, not a single drop falls. Lemanjá: Chicita... what kind of place is this? A low static noise vibrates through the air as she takes another step forward.
