As someone
Who does not participate in the flawed political system that America uses it did send me the shocked pikachu reaction when Trump won when the Democratic Party isolated any moderate that wasn’t 100 percent all in on every single political issue
Isolation gets u nowhere, education gets u somewhere

I vote democrat always but my republican friends never judge me. My liberal friends attack me and tell me to vote for trump any time i disagree with one liberal thing. Icons
Jaded and this is why the majority gap shifts more and more republican each election. It’s an epidemic at this point. I don’t even vote…just laugh
Jaded respectfully, your country is a mess. And you need better friends! You should be able to have political discussions and challenge eachother's beliefs. Or how are we ever going to grow as people. There are non-negotiables with me (primarily someone's right to exist and be equals). But other than that I am always up for healthy discourse with someone if they bring educated points to the table 🤷♂️

I get where you are coming from. But that is once again asking the repressed minority to do all the work and for the people who have run your country for hundred of years to change nothing about their behaviour. People who have fought for their rights have to align with people who have actively fought against their rights... because suddenly groceries cost more and they are outraged? And the second things change, they will go back to fighting against their rights again. It is never that black and white. But actions are.
Nick the way this is written is making it out to b black and white when 77 million ppl voted for trump. 77 million ppl are not trying to take ur rights just a louder minority within that population so to isolate all of them isn’t winning any elections
spartagow But why do they stubbornly cling to their "right-wing" identity? And if they voted for a party that actively voted against their rights... then yes, they are part of That 77 million who decided that cheaper gas is more important than another human feeling safe and supported.
Nick I can guarantee most of that population voted and never discussed politics again until the next election comes around
spartagow is your point that we should discuss politics more? Or less? I am confused. We are talking politics all of the time. Me existing is political. Religion is political. Taxes are political. Everything is politics.
