Idk why
We care about being "popular" on a fucking website. Like honestly if you do or call yourself "popular" lets take a step back and reassess what we are doing with our lives. Maybe some irl friends would help you pass this sort of delusion. Or maybe even a job?

hauntedwaves while I completely understand people's want for a sense of belonging a community, and finding it online (even though shit like that contributes negatively to our mental i.e depression and anxiety) what I'm focusing on is purely the people having a popularity contest. Full grown adults i might add acting like middle schoolers and high schoolers. I thought maybe with the shutdown of tengaged those people would realize maybe its time to mature and grow tf up. I certainly did. And its sad to see that they didnt. Sorry for the rant
to play devils advocate if someone struggles with all those things irl and find a sense of belonging/community here, then honestly who cares even if its cringe. but yeah its prob not healthy
