Today is the first major holiday
Without my Mom. She suddenly died in March after being diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. She was diagnosed and passed 12 days later.
She embodied the holidays and it’s a bittersweet, heavy day.
This little website has provided me something to take my mind off of this the nights I get back from work. Instead of being lost in my thoughts I can reconnect with people from my internet life and not feel as alone.
Grief is weird and grief is hard.
I hope you all have wonderful days with your families (those who are celebrating), make those memories, the good and bad because you’ll look back one day and wish you could make more.
