I am trying to read 100 books this year, I just finished book 1 which is Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. I am going to review and let people know if I liked it or not :) It was a 6 ⭐ Read for me and probably the funniest book I have read. I highly recommend it! Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman drops an ordinary guy and his ex-girlfriend’s cat into a brutal, gamified apocalypse where Earth is transformed into a lethal dungeon for alien entertainment. Dungeon Crawler Carl is outrageously funny, relentlessly creative, and shockingly heartfelt. He is grumpy, moral, and deeply human, while Princess Donut steals every scene she’s in. The dungeon mechanics are clever without being tedious, the stakes escalate masterfully, and the humor never undercuts the emotional punches.
