and there is a crying child kicking the absolute fuck out of my chair. what should i say?

If you kick that foot into my chair one last time you will lose it and have to float above ground instead of walking.

Tell the parent to control their kid (nicely), if they won't you could get an attendant involved
I had a like 55 year old man slamming his head into the back of my chair repeatedly on a plane once (i do not know why) so the last time he did it , i flung myself back into my chair so it smacked him backwards... he didn't do it again but I fear you cant do that to a child lmao, maybe act like you're going to the toilet and have a quick word with the flight attendant
